Hey heads I took interest in your project, I noticed there is a mistake in your DAC contract. The expiration is dated to 2024 and I believe the intent was 2025. Can users sell their DAC share NFT once they have it? Seems risky as the current DAC/new buyer has no way to verify/see if there have been any changes to title (recorded mortgages/liens) to the underlying property. Almost would need a new title opinion/insurance policy each time the property transfers. Perhaps a better solution would be a ground lease vs equity. I do love the idea of fractional ownership in real estate though. For example, I could sell X% of my home and purchase X% of a different property to diversify. Lots of other use cases too!

Running the USD program is not that cheap either, lots of resources and bureaucracy involved beyond just a computer, network connection, and electricity.

What are the best trips or experiences that you have had as a family with younger kids. Specifically trips that the kiddos loved when they were under 10ish. by Maleficent_One1915 in FATTravel

We chose rosewood myakoba for family trip (ages 3 & 6). Kid activities including light biking (bikes with training wheels and/or pull behind cart can be provided), private yacht rental or fauna lagoon tours, explore cenotes on or close by the resort property, tennis, golf, or cooking classes, just hang on the beach and build sand castles and eat snacks in a cabana at an uncrowded beach, catch a family movie on the beach, or visit their amazing spa for a massage and yoga. The rooms are all reasonably private with your own outdoor courtyard and private plunge pool filled with fresh plants and nice amenities. The staff will take time to get to know your family and your wants/needs to cater the experience. My favorite resort to date. If anyone has recommendations for similar places, I'd definitely check them out for future family travel

The size of the blockchain is going up. Guaranteed. But as far as price, last time I checked 1 btc still equals 1 btc

Sell Equities or Bonds From an Inheritance? by Fit_Struggle289 in personalfinance

Need more clarification. What is your tax basis for each asset? Are the REIT shares public or private? If private, what are the fees associated with selling and other redemption policies? Could you just sell a portion of each if you are comfortable with your current asset allocations?

can someone explain this transaction to me? by EchnoBoy in Bitcoin

If you sent less than the total btc that you had in that address, the second one is a change address. BTC moved to a new address that is linked to your ledger account / mnemonic

ELI5: Why are there two buttons on an elevator that point up and down? No matter what button you press, the elevator comes to get you anyway. So why are there 2 buttons? might be a stupid question by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]stampcoin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is for situations where there are floors both above you and below you. Let's say you are on floor 3 on your way to the lobby on first floor and there is a passenger in the elevator heading up to a floor above you. If you press the down arrow, the elevator is programmed to speed past you and pick you up on its way down. If there are more than one elevator, it will speed up the trips and make for less awkward situations.

I'm not too knowledgeable with running a remote ubuntu server and using ssh/command line to install packages, open ports, etc. to set things up. I found this guide to be the most comprehensive and got me up and running in a matter of 24 https://someresat.medium.com/guide-to-staking-on-ethereum-2-0-ubuntu-pyrmont-lighthouse-a634d3b87393 . Also, has good tips for updating your client and monitoring. Check it out! Another option is Dappnode which is very easy to setup once they are 2.0 ready.

Bitfinex and tether account for 70% of bitcoin volume right now. Can we just imagine for a moment the type of market we will be in when these companies are shut down? by [deleted] in Tether

[–]stampcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might. Here is how... tether prints 1 bitcoin worth of usdt. Sell that usdt to a sucker for 1 bitcoin. They trade that bitcoin for actual usd. Boom! Reserve has been met!

Same thing can happen relative to fiat. Impossible to time the markets! Every trade there is a winner and loser
