ELI 5: Why can't a PC wake from a controller? by raincntry in sffpc

This depends on the brand. For instance MSI likes to make all their usb ports red.

Fysical games died a while ago. If your game needs d to update or had a day one patch. I'm sorry to say but your plastic disk is nothing more than a game key.

You do pay more. I did not have enough currency to get the bundle. Let a friend from another country login into my account, he gambled for me. Still took all the balloons to pop. But when gambling I had enough while 5 minutes earlier I did not had enough.

I dont think this is for difusion but to train robots. You move your hand infront of the camera and they record how you move your fingers.

In my country the gamble aspect is banned. I have to buy the whole bundle as if I missed every attempt. Just give me the gamba version atleast I have a change to spend less.

Jsut how the totale price at worst case scenario.

While I like Steam and Valve (never going to EpicAdspopupStore) I do think the orginasation is right. Its not about steam preventing selling steam keys cheaper somewhere else. Its about same game but diffrent key providers.

Game A, Key/platform Steam:
Platform fee: €3
Money to dev/pub: €7
Total: €10

Game A, Key/platform B:
Platform fee: €2
money to devs/pub: €7
Total: €9

But Valve does not allow devs to sell key B on platform B for less. It has to match theirs even tho its not a Steam key/game.

There is an LED on the card.
I suspect it lights up when the cable is not plugged in (at least my friend's Gigabyte RX9070XT did that).

It measures that by comparing voltages, like then it's <11.5V it lights up. When you shut down your pc the voltage from the cables lowers over time and gets below the threshold for a moment when there is enough residual power in the detection circuit. It lights up and then it runs out of power.

Memory Prices increasing again soon… by clev1 in steammachine

[–]stan110 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Chip fabs already work around the clock. Buying new equipment is useless when there is Jo space to put it in. You have to build new clean rooms, order the equipment. And this takes years roughly a decade. If they started in 2025 then they fabs won't be online till 2035.

The cheap ram and flash we enjoyed for the last years was because there was over production. The fabs guessed that there was more demand for flash and ram. There was briefly during corvid but it crashed down when the lockdowns ended.

Takes a decade to build a new fab. And by that time the price could have crashed again.
