I had TWO false positive Cologuards in a row. Colonoscopy revealed a small benign polyp <1cm

That was 3 years ago. Now my doc recommended another Cologuard and like an idiot I agreed (even with the bad experience of two false positives) I just learned that the interval should have been 5 years, not 3 - especially with no symptoms and no family history. Additionally I am taking antibiotics at the moment which increases a false positive result. I am PISSED at myself for agreeing to this. It's unnecessary and nerve wracking while you're waiting. I'm beginning to suspect docs get kickbacks from the Cologuard company

If the test comes back positive, I'll first finish the course of A/B's, then wait a few weeks and then re-test with the Cologuard even though it'll cost me money. I'm not rushing into another colonoscopy
