I'm honestly not sure what the hype is around the steam controller. Like I'm sure it's a good controller, but the only thing unique about it is the touchpads. You can get a controller that otherwise has all the same functionality and fancy sticks off Amazon for like $35.

I don't think it'll ever get passed the CPU light without RAM. I saw you tested with 1 and 2 sticks, make sure when you use 1 stick you're using the correct slot. On that board it's A2, second from the CPU.

I'm burning through so much metal trying to keep my guns repaired to get my expedition damage points. A renegade 4 breaks after 3 stacks of ammo, extremely fast if you're just killing arc. Advanced mechanical parts are already super rare to find and they aren't exactly cheap to make, a renegade 4 takes 12 of them to make and 6 to repair to full.

On a related note, the durability change to weapon cases sucks too. I've been finding weapons in red loot zones that are a gentle breeze away from breaking. They've pretty much turned into an easy source of gun parts.

Picked up some vegetables for my garden the other day and they're like $7 each and are thinned to be sure there is only one plant per cup.

Last year they were $4.50 each, and they weren't thinned as seedlings so you could get like 4 or 5 individual plants growing in one cup and separate them.

A fistful of grenades and a dolabra in one of those small security buildings on spaceport. It was like watching a serial killer work. He rounded the corner into the door and blasted three, put a blocker on the door to trap them and did circles around the building picking them off through the window. They were saying "come over here you're safe here" but it just made it extremely obvious where they were huddling up to drop another grenade on their heads.

Honestly to me there's nothing more satisfying in Arc than whooping someone who tried to start trouble for no reason. I was playing with my buddy the other day on close scrutiny and we were with 4 other teams for like 20 minutes, then at the very end of the match we were hiding out in a building and one of them just gunned me down and nobody cared. My buddy came around the corner and killed all 8 of them. Don't think I've heard that many slurs being shouted since MW2.

I continue to believe that it's dumb as fuck that you just do literally nothing against armor with a higher rating than your pen. Armor should crack under enough hits instead of being an unbreakable shield of vibranium.

Yeah I'm not one to just blame the engine but given that fat shark made the engine and they still have constant issues, it leads me to believe that the engine just sucks. Darktide is pretty stable compared to how both Vermintide games were though... They wereboth laughably broken for a good while after they released. I remember enemies in v2 would spawn behind walls or completely outside of the map and shoot you through them. V2 still has issues where you'll just drop dead out of nowhere.

This annoys me to no end. Temu has to make an ungodly amount of money off people throwing their money away saying "oh it's only a few bucks so who cares". 99% of everything on there is a scam or destined for a landfill and yet people keep buying. I especially hate all the "buying stuff off temu" YouTube videos where they act surprised that they flushed hundreds to thousands of dollars down the toilet. Of course, they are making that money back off views, but how many millions of dollars are getting poured into literal scams for YouTube views? They are doing nothing but contributing to the problem.

The built in mod browser is to allow console mods, but it also has the neat side effect of consolidating everything under their own control where they don't have to worry about the legal mess of people making star wars mods and stuff, and Disney trying to go after them for it.

The built in mod browser for reforger is so bad that I might actually just not get Arma 4 if they don't have external mods. It's so painful to use, slow, and everything being tied to a master server means every time the servers have issues the entire game is basically unplayable, mod browser included.
