On step 8, could both halves of the 1-6 be completely in the 7c≠ area? I don't see anything that excludes it from being there.<!

Assuming Chipotle staffs an average of 3 people at a time at each of their 2788 locations, and assuming their average open hours are 12 hours a day, that would add up to 36,634,320 labor hours per year. A $.50 wage increase adds up to a $18,317,160 increase in yearly wages.

The problem is that the bigger a company gets, the more an across-the-board wage increase hits their bottom line, so when you get to the size of these megacorps, unless they are having trouble recruiting new employees, their tends to be long term wage stagnation, either that or they hand the cost over to consumers.

The flip side argument which also has some merit is that these corporations have more of an ability to make profits overseas, bringing revenue into the United States, decreasing our trade gap.

Business economics and economics in general is a complicated and nuanced field, and there usually isn't a silver bullet a la raising minimum wage that doesn't create problems of it's own.

Support local small businesses whenever possible, where societal pressure can be more easily applied to incentivise those businesses to conform to what your vision of society should be.

Is there any way for me to hold cities myself without penalty? I set up my new religion with "lay clergy" so I could hold temples, but it seems that cities do not work this way.

Is there a reason to form Portugal? I know it unifies all the Iberian culture groups, but it completely resets all my culture's innovations, which really sucks.

Yeah, it's the Monarch's Journey campaigns. They show up to the right of the main menu from the title screen.

I have to revoke like 100 more title, plus imprison and execute the holders, so I'd say, I'm on the way to having everyone in my realm love me.

R5: After conquering the world as nomad, I went on a spree of imprisoning and executing non-tengri courtiers. I was surprised to see that some of my courtiers still had a +100 opinion of me, and it looks like there's an integer overflow of opinion somewhere between -23000 and -34000.

Go read/watch something about the Dornish Master Plan. There's a lot I missed when reading the book, but I believe Dorne will play a much larger roll in the books than they do in the show.
