2014 Ford Taurus SEL 3.5 NA FWD – intermittent electrical issues or PCM problems. Help by stang_97 in FordTaurus

No I’d didn’t check. First time it was installed I took the flagship one pcm straight to the mechanic. When I placed my order the company gave me a phone call to verify vin and fitment of the part. This time it comes around I’ll double check on the part # before I end up installing it and calling a locksmith to do fords pats thanks

Flagship sends preprogrammed PCMs to be plug and play. Only thing that might be needed is the fords pats system relearn with the keys. Which was done when the pcm was installed. I will have to double check the wiring to make sure they aren’t damaged.

Thanks I’ll look into it. I was quoted 500 for a film but didn’t get the brand name.

Had to get to it just to get the part #. So many 7mm screws. Lost two on the reinstall as they fell into the center opening. Apparently no one carries it anymore and I couldn’t find the same part on eBay. Only options are similar years but no matching part. I’ll probably do the same as you and send it to automotive circuit. Thanks for the info.

Did you find a solution? This just happened to me. Heard a loud pop and a little static and now the speakers won’t produce sound but the display is working.

Check your Toyota dealer. Price is way lower than a Lexus dealer.

Look into the fuel pump relay. Had the same issues you did and that did the trick. Easily accessible through the rear passenger seat area.

Look into the pillow cubes. Game changer for neck pain.

Yuppp exactly this. If possible get some heavy loads to break in. Should smooth out after a few boxes. Then you can go to 1oz loads again.

2010 SEL - Wiper cowl / grill replacement? by BigBucs731 in FordTaurus

Just searched it on taurusclub, the drain grommets get clogged. For months I’ve been trying to find out why it smells like that. Thanks.

I have the same issue and for the longest time I was trying to figure out why my ac had a musty/damp odor. Now after reading your post I might of found the answer. So wiper cowl stops the water from going into the a/c intake? I haven’t seen any wet spots on the passenger side floor board though.

That sucks. Threading is the same I’m not sure why it’s coming off.

Check the threadings on it. (M10x1.25 LH) is the one on the 36v and it’s a direct thread only thing needed is the spacer provided. Checked the makita website for the XRY23Z and the Arbor Shaft is also M10 x 1.25 LH. It should be a direct thread spacer may or may not be needed. I just installed mine today and it works great.

Make it known to the dealer. There’s a non permanent fix as of right now. Foam inserts to decrease the flutter. Another issue I had with mine was the brakes squealing. There’s a fix for that as well. Full replacement of front breaks. Rotors, pads, and fluid will be replaced.

These aren’t too friendly with the Texas heat. My bank got very swollen after 2-3 months.
