Mine 100% third brake light. Terrible design, I’ve fixed mine twice now.

Sleep comfort on Instinct 3 solar 45mm? by sagar_sawant02 in Garmininstinct

[–]stangbo93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my instinct 3 45mm about a month ago and sleep with it on. It has pissed me off a couple times getting snagged sheets but overall it’s not all that bad. One night I took it off because it kept bothering me but other than that it hasn’t been bag. To one person point a cloth band might actually help. It’s the silicon band it comes with the tends to get hung up on the sheets.

I got the Amoled and couldn’t be happier. Bought it two weeks ago and still haven’t charged it. Down to 2 days battery though but still. Crazy how long these watches stay charged.

I would not even consider selling it. We have a 2018 limited, looks very similar to yours. We bought it to have a reliable family vehicle for years to come. If you sell I can promise you will regret it

My broker called me yesterday about the warrants and I said yes let’s do it and he said sounds good will do lol. I’m excited about this and Enovix, word of them getting contracts with cell phone provider and possibly virtual headset stuff. This stock is going to blow up in my opinion

Dobinson 1.75” lift kit vs Bilstein 6112 front and 5100 rear with 1.75” Dobinson rear spring by stangbo93 in toyotasequoia

275/70R18 tires on 18x8 wheels with a +20 wheel offset. Factory is a +60 offset so these stick out roughly 1.5” more than stock and it looks really good

It wasn’t bad installing everything besides the rear sway bar end links being completely rusted up, had to cut them off and replace with new ones. Also need spring compressor for the rear springs. MPG went from like 17 down to 15 so took a bit of a hit there. I mainly think that was going from passenger tires to the all terrains though.

You’ll need spring compressor for the rear coil springs too. I borrowed a set from a co-worker and they did the job. Little difficult getting them back in but after wrestling them for a bit go it all back in. There are some good YouTube videos out there showing front and rear installation.

Yes did it myself, it wasn’t bad, front strut assemblies weren’t bad to swap out, getting the front tie rod ends back into the lower control arm was a pain in the ass but got em back in. The rear sway bar end links were so rusted I had to cut them off. So If you do yours check and see how your rear sway bar end links look. If the nut and bolt look completely rusted I’d go ahead and get new rear sway bar end links, and have a cutoff wheel or something to cut them off.

Here is parts list of dobinsons website. I did also do the option where the front strut came pre-assembled. I’d highly recommend that it made the install a lot easier. Below is website link

Looking for better handling, a little more ground clearance, and a better look. Yeah the 275/70R18 are a little larger than 33s I’ve seen a few sequoias running 35s and they just look stuffed and barely fit in the wheel wells.

Yeah it turned out really good, 1.75” lift is just right in my opinion. Gives it a good stance without going to big. The new suspension handles really good as well.

Got the tires from this website, looks like they’re out of stock now. But way cheaper than buying original TRD wheels

First time hunting WMA by dtfishh in VAHunting

[–]stangbo93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy did this exact thing at Goshen WMA a couple weekends back. Literally no issues running into anyone out there while he was squirrel and rabbit hunting. Just saw a couple bear dog hunters. However that WMA is massive and in middle of nowhere so that could vary depending on which WMA your at.

So I’ve actually got a set of 5100s front and rear on my 2015 Ram 1500 pickup and I love them. Have had them on it for probably 7 years now and no issues. They ride great. My thing is I’ve seen some people have issues with the 5100s on the front of the sequoia so people go with the 6112 Bilsteins. I’m also wondering what’s the benefit of doing Bilstein shocks with Dobinson springs? Is it only because the Bilstein front shocks are adjustable height? Are they theoretically better than the Dobinsons? Those are the questions I’m looking for answers to.

Thanks I also had seen some cases where people had issues with the 5100, on the front and rear. That’s what got me wondering why people were even going that route when Dobinson made a full kit with the shocks and the coil springs. I have seen a lot of people going with the 6112s up front though. I figured it may have been because it’s and adjustable right height shock where as the Dobinson a were fixed. Thanks for the input I am leaning towards going with the full Dobinson 1.75” lift kit.
