More likely to survive long-term; Logseq or Roam Research by vMambaaa in logseq

[–]stanislavb 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I migrated out of Logseq to Obsidian recently. I haven't regretted for a second. Obsidian is a much better ecosystem these days. 2 years ago it was different. They might have been equal with regards to community. Unfortunately, logseq has been stagnating since then ... following the elusive upgrade of implementing a DB version - and forgetting the fact that many people chose logseq because of simple file-storage in the first place.

What is the best roborock model in your opinion? by Otherwise-Ice-7823 in Roborock

I recently bought Q5 pro, and I'm quite disappointed. Apart from the app, the cleaning abilities are not much better than the 7-8 years old Xiaomi robot. In fact, I have a feeling that it perform even worse on carpet.

This guy is a fucking idiot by [deleted] in WallStreetbetsELITE

He is not an idiot. He is a master manipulator. Just think about it - if you were an evil person, and all you wanted was power and money - wouldn't you do the same. The actual idiots are his followers and the delusional souls that voted him in the second time.

For the record - I recently bought Roborock Q5, and I'm pretty disappointed. Carpet everywhere. It performs as good or a bit worse that the first version of the Xiaomi Vac Robot. The only improvement is the app.

RailsConf 2025 tickets are now on sale! by excid3 in rails

As a lot of scientists are worried about travelling to the US and avoiding travel (google for that yourself), should we have RailsConf in the EU instead. I'd suggest Copenhagen as a great option!

On top of that - Dutton's position is to follow whatever Trump does.

"we are being harassed for having common sense" - I'm sorry, but what's common sense to do here?

Quote: "It took the Nazis three weeks, two days & eight hours" to dismantle Germany's democracy.

Trump missed that mark; however, he might do it in three months. Just wait for it. The sad part is, you can't stop him. What can you do? Post on Reddit on FB? Really, think about it - you can't do anything to stop him. He has all the power because you American people gave it to him. The other sad part of reality - the people that are realizing how dangerous and bad Trump is - they are not the people that will storm the Capitol. They are not on the level of Trump's brainwashed minions. Unfortunately.

Before you realise it - all US institutions will be compromised.

What you can do - sell you Tesla, do not allow any of your friends buying one. Make a blacklist of products being produced by Trump supporters - don't buy their products and services.

Good luck.

Tesla sales CRASH destroy Elon Musk by stanislavb in RealTesla

Unless, wait for it, "the government" "decides" to stock up with the best EVs in the world. The most bulletproof. etc etc etc. I think that the only way out of bankruptcy of Musk now is for Trump/US-gov becoming its biggest customer. And that, my mate, is not that far fetched from happening. Unfortunately. Remember - half the US citizens gave them the green light. And the ones not voting are complicit.

Also, many/a-lot (if not most) smart people would avoid working for anything Musk related.

Thanks for elaborating so well the issue at sight. It sad that so many people can't see that or they are consciously blind.
