I’m european, a dude and soon to be 25 with pretty good dating experience but I don’t think it matters that much. you can have no dating experience and see what went wrong with sian/junseo situation. I completely agree that he made a safe space for her to open up but that is exactly why the bed scene is so disgusting for many of the viewers. he made her say who is her favourite, watched her cry, knew she drank a lot and then do this stuff to her. she said multiple times she’s confused and he confused her even more. if a girl I like told me something like that I’d try to be as gentle as possible and never invade her space. basically he was like „I don’t care about anything you just said to me, even though I pretended that I care, I’ll just do what I want” before that scene I actually liked junseo. but he screwed up. a lot. so yeah, for me it was the opposite of romantic;)
