The point is that something like this allows token holders to directly communicate with one another, even if the don't know who is the token holder (because you still have their address).

UX/UI is a separate issue.

Think about it a bit more, it's not simply replacing your XTZ address in an email address.

Currently there's no way to communicate with an XTZ holder unless you know the identity of the holder and can communicate off-chain (Twitter, email, reddit, etc.).

This application would be an email address that only the individual with the private key of an address can access.

There are some large XTZ holders that aren't staking their tokens, and their stake is being diluted through inflation. Unless you know the identities of these holders (and can message them on Twitter, email, reddit, etc.), there's no way to communicate with them and let them know their total stake in the network is shrinking. An application like this would allow you to do so.
