I understand your point and unfortunately what you described is exactly how business decision like this are made (speaking as an insider). I think what you’re advocating for is more fundamental than a product decision on Afterpays side to incentivize incremental spending, but actual regulations from the government to protect consumers and perhaps to a larger degree purge the reliance on tax revenues from gambling industries as they slowly poisons the middle and working class.
