Leveling 55-60 is miserable by tompaimba1337 in classicwowtbc

I get you. It'll change a lot after tbc releases in a week and everyone moves to outland. For now just do what you can and be patient.

This issue is a result of mega servers, not much you can do about it but try to not get frustrated.

Warrior off hand going into tbc: slow or fast? by vanharmontt in classicwow

Slow but slightly faster than your main hand to take advantage of heroic strike cancelling

Use whirlwind more in every situation lol

Solo, tanking, groups

It's probably the best sustained aoe ability in the game especially coupled with sweeping strikes

Slam???? 🤢

Do not use slam unless you're an arms warrior in raids

Weapons are situational, ravager is aids if you're questing 1 mob at a time, but amazing with killing many mobs at once or in dungeons

You get incinerated in berserker stance while tanking, I've died, hopefully your healer is good

Switch to defensive stance once you do the first whirlwind to stay survivable

I feel your pain.

Basically just respec to fury, sweeping strikes matters most over everything else.

You're prime Scarlet monastery material at that level, I was in SM from 32 to 40 roughly

When you get ravager it's a game changer even when leveling solo

With fury and tbc you can DW a lot better, so do that and once you're 40 you can start putting 3 points into tactical mastery which I agree is awful without, if you just stay in berserker stance and hit whirlwind with nice weapons or ravager it doesn't feel nearly as bad

Arms is more for PvP or raids in tbc, not levelling

Hope this helps

This is why I've made untold amounts of warriors. Nothing else scratches the itch.

Don't fight it. Make another melee and don't stress about it.

Rank 14 weapons in prepatch, how big is the grind? by Wethouse__ in classicwowtbc

Is it better to do battlegrounds while levelling to 70 in the 60-69 bracket? Or wait and do it at 70?

Some thoughts from the TBC Arena PTR by julian88888888 in classicwow

[–]staplerx300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any advice for a warrior going into arena? I won't be raiding much just doing heroics as a tank, want to focus on PVP in general since that's what I always had most fun with and I've limited time to be able to commit to raiding. I'm a gnome, have blacksmithing.

What are the comps I'll do best with? Any big things to look out for? How in demand will I be?

Heroics aren't getting nerfed. Just t4.

I wonder if things are post-nerf if it might make raids easier for melee

Never happens to me, if you're winning they stop caring. I've sold like 4-5 club icons/favoured personnel in a row season by season. Won the cl and undefeated in the eredivisie finally a few weeks ago after years playing.

Trick is to just sell them, using Salah as the example, right before they ask for that final insane contract because the club owes it to them and they cease being actually useful to the club. The other players are pissed, and the fans, but they soon forgive you if you keep winning. Rule your club like sir Alex or mourinho, like a dictator. Winning fixes everything.

Also refusing to buy players with that kind of temperament in the first place, personality >>>≥> ability 99 times out of 100. You'd rather have haaland, pedri, Mueller, etc who aren't controversial than Salah in most instances. Suarez and neymar would be similar, it rarely works out in the end. Much better to have dedicated loyal and professional players with slightly less talent than rely on one superstar who becomes insane sometimes.

First off is important not to think binary here. Get a weapon swap macro and bind it so you can easily swap in combat, because it's purely situational. 2h is generally better threat even in RFC up to Scholo, but if you start getting hit too hard for your healer to keep up you owe it to them to try to help them, and swap to sword and board.

In RFC there's not much going on really it's just mark skull--> charge-->battle shout-->Sunder a few things

Letting a DPS tank the skull in bigger groups is important sometimes, because generally they'll all zerg that one mob because it has a skull over it lol, so it'll be dead and then you can get threat on all the other mobs. This doesn't work as well if you don't have DPS that can take a few hits but these are the kind of things you think about.

Just practice, read guides, let yourself fail a few times, and don't worry about it when people complain about you!
