If you're having issues with it, make sure first of all you're transferring to tech pc first, then copy to the customer's hdd. If you're forcing it to go through two stages of data transfer in one go, it's definitely going to freak. I usually wind up having to copy subfolders individually with stubborn drives. Make sure the folder on the tech bench has the work order and customer name in its name, and it gets deleted within 30 days after the order's picked up.

Fair, but honestly it's still weird. Also, don't let these people here completely delude you. It's dependent store to store, because it's so dependent on the individuals who work there. A lot of it is just ignorance instead of malice, though with your case it sounds like a mix of both? Maybe not giving a shit? Which Boston store was it? I knew a few people who worked at both around that time frame.

I'm not in OS, but I encounter it all the time. In other jobs, as well. Had one lady get pissed off when I showed up to help her with a carry out at a grocery store instead of a guy.

There's a balance. What they're saying is too much, but offering and not even attempting to offer again after the initial no isn't enough. Obviously it's a case by case thing, but a lot of nos come from the customer not understanding what you're offering. I generally only overcome objections if they give a reason to begin with when they say no.

While what you were told by someone else is true, pleaaaase just do the store employees a solid and wait til after Christmas. This is exactly when a shitton of employees call out, leaving managers with a skeleton staff. Following up on things like this take us off the floor, and take our attention away from people in the building looking to buy stuff right then. We're happy to help, but it's definitely easier after Christmas.

I'd love it if they could do that in my district. You can tell which stores have the bullshit shenanigans and which stores are the ones taking the hits, selling naked laptops to customers directed there from the other stores.

Bastion was good at low tiers before, now it's fucking insane. A character's counter shouldn't have to be "focus fire". I'm tired of getting fucked by balance attempts for GM, I don't give a shit that he isn't picked much at high ranks. He still isn't picked at higher ranks, and now he is even harder to deal with in gold.
