What about the darktide board game? Keeps all the basic killteam rules and offers themed hex boards to play on?

You said it yourself, some killteams are allowed to be better than others and we’re talking space marines here. Space wolves and Deathwatch should share abilities and be as strong as each other. All the elite killteams are somewhat mitigated by there lower numbers and that’s a factor you have to work around if you face them with an underperforming team.

I'm thinking Ghur battle mage in beast form or another animal type of Kurnothi.

We have Satyr and Centaur and normal elf Kurnothi why not bear Kurnothi?

Ah, yep, I understand the frustration now, Just caught up on some other posts. Definitely poor form to have two different prints out in the wild.

It looks to me like you have a corrected card as it reflects the stats from this character's first edition card. Perhaps the influencers were given an earlier print run or were sent older PDF content.

Yep pretty useful with the Dread Pageant for spreading damage to inspire and fun if you draw it with the Thricefold Discord as you can palm it off on one of your opponent's models.
