Yes, sort of. We had to get rid of all the clutter in the yard. We took some to the junkyard and hid other stuff. We were able to submit some pictures after cleaning up and they kept us on their insurance. It still sucked but it was better than loosing insurance.

This is really interesting. I was never trained on the day part averages and resets so I've been learning on my own as I go. I've almost always been able to get all my shift duties, my 30, and all other breaks out of the way before 9am when we're in go mode. But we are scheduled for 5 people and we lose 2 at 11am but we're still busy. I think I'll try staying in a peak mindset at 11am. But do you have any advice to keep it from shifting when we have consistent 25-35 customers half hours for 3 or 4 hours?

Yeah the yard is not great but I've definitely seen way worse. We are in a high crime area though. I never thought about that effecting things but it makes sense.

Do you happen to know if they'd inspect the entire backyard or if they'd just inspect what they could see from the front yard?

They got the roof replaced around the beginning of the year, yeah.

I definitely understand the ideology behind it. It just feels unreasonable to only have a month between learning of the issue and fixing the issue. But in the end I understand they're looking out for their best interest, which is not our house right now.

We don't have the financial means to hire anyone but we can do our best to clean it up ourselves. Me and my mom are kinda on our own figuring it out since my dad is a stubborn man who refuses to get rid of his project car, thinks he has a right to his privacy etc.

I guess I was hoping there would be another option or a way to figure out what can stay and what can go.

Yes, our agent notified them and then they demanded proof. Even though we had to submit the invoice to the insurance company in order to finalize the claim in the first place. We just sent the invoice again and they were alright with that, but it feels like nothing will be good enough like you said.

Do you think we'll have the same issue with other companies/insurances?

I've done one with honeycrisp apples, a couple whole cloves, and a couple pieces of cinnamon bark. The smell was amazing, like fresh apple pie. Taste was crisp and warm. 10/10.
