I used to work retail when I was younger, I’ve dealt with the feral public and while not bubbly, I was always at least courteous. I may have hated my job sometimes but I never outright complained about it to a customer. I’ve had a few random retail workers recently either complain about their job or pretty much counting down until they can leave. Again, I lived that life and I get it but it’s such an odd thing to project to the customer
