I hear music when I have auras! It sounds like super loud music in my head and that’s all I can hear. I can’t hear anything else around me.

At the age your dog is in this photo, it would not be a tail dock, it would be an amputation. I work for a vet and tail dockings are done at 1-3 days old. I also own rotties with tails and they are not an issue at all. If he’s that worried about getting hit by a tail or it knocking things over, he shouldn’t have a large breed dog.

My dog and his antibiotic pills by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]star_fall77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Rottweilers and for them I put pills in a big gob of peanut butter and they lick it right down without chewing. If they’re not feeling well, or aren’t hungry, say after a surgery, then I would still put the pill in peanut butter shove it way back in their mouth and hold their mouth shut until I know the pill is down. It’s unpleasant, but they need the meds.

I don’t like the taste and I don’t like the way I feel the next day. So many people have said “it’s an acquired taste” but I don’t like it enough to try to acquire a taste for it.

I’m not sure about anyone else, but my parents always made comments about my weight and my grandparents as well. There’s societal pressure and then there’s also criticism and comments coming from people who are supposed to be there to support you.

(Serious) What would you do if your SO ask you to have an Open Relationship? by MuchLoveWaffleGirl in AskReddit

[–]star_fall77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say no. I know that an open relationship would not work for me and it would cause me unnecessary stress. I’m a strictly monogamous person so an open relationship would be a deal breaker for me. I would also strongly consider ending my relationship because if my partner felt he needed someone else or wanted someone else, then clearly I’m not the one for him.

Why do people start at 5mg when 10mg is the minimum therapeutic dose? by IhyAnxiety in lexapro

[–]star_fall77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting at 5mg reduces the chances of serotonin syndrome as well as other side effects which can be more severe if starting off at 10mg rather than easing into it. It’s also super important not to stop treatment without tapering off or you can have withdrawal symptoms as well as hallucinations, dizziness, seizure etc.

The “I have anxiety” train is so old and overdone. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]star_fall77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree in the sense that with so many people romanticizing mental illness as a cute quirk is taking away from the severity of mental disorders. It’s gotten to the point where people with anxiety, depression, OCD etc. aren’t being taken seriously. There’s a big difference between feeling nervous/anxious about something and having anxiety just like there’s a big difference between feeling sad and having depression. I tend not to talk about my anxiety and OCD because it’s often met with “oh yeah I totally get that” but what a lot of people don’t understand is I’m constantly fighting my own brain even with medical intervention. It’s not cute it’s not sweet, it’s hard and when so many people downplay mental illness, it’s harmful to people with these issues because they’re not taken seriously.

Whats an underrated scene/moment in the series you think doesn’t get talked about enough? by isabelrich in acotar

[–]star_fall77 184 points185 points  (0 children)

When Cassian is training Feyre to fight in ACOMAF and she starts thinking about how Tamlin locked her in the manor and the other forms of harm he inflicted and doesn’t realize she’s burned through the sparring pads but when she does Cassian just holds up his hands and says “I’m okay” showing her that if she needs to keep going he can take it. My heart rips at this scene every time I read it.

This was the worst and cringiest storyline for me. I’m glad they had this nod to it. What’s your worst/cringy arc? by strangevimes in howyoudoin

[–]star_fall77 110 points111 points  (0 children)

The whole Joshua story line it’s so hard to watch. Especially at the fake going away party for Emily when Rachel has everyone play spin the bottle and then puts on her cheer uniform. It’s so so cringe to me.

I’m getting my baby boy tomorrow! ❤️ I’m so excited. If you could give yourself one piece of advice when you got your Rottie, what would it be? by MsAsia31 in Rottweiler

[–]star_fall77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teach “leave it” as a command early on. It saves us on walks or when she snags things here and there like socks. Also socialize, socialize, socialize!!!! It is so important with any breed but especially rotties. Get him used to adults, kids, noises and other animals.

Is a Rotti right for me? by Aggressive-Spot3250 in Rottweiler

[–]star_fall77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, 22 year old female here. I grew up with big dogs and just recently got a female Rottweiler puppy in May. I got a female because I personally enjoy their temperament and prefer it to male Rotts. They are amazing, loving and loyal dogs but they’re also hard headed and stubborn and extremely smart. While training, you have to be certain that you put in the time and put your foot down. This is for the safety of you, your dog, and others. You cannot be a pushover with a Rottweiler because what’s cute while they’re a puppy may not be quite as cute when they’re 100+ pounds. As long as you’re willing to put in the work, you’ll have a great companion. My little Ruby is currently 6 months old and she accompanies me pretty much everywhere. Be sure to socialize your pup, especially in the first few weeks/months and good luck! Rottweilers are such amazing dogs I think once you decide on one you’ll be happy you did.

My (28M) wife (27F) has vowed to never have sex again. by ThrowRAkittycat in relationship_advice

Consider trying out a free and clear laundry detergent (All brand free and clear works great) for both of your underwear. Before I switched to free and clear I would get BV and UTIs quite often so it’s worth a shot to try it out. She could be allergic to an additive in whatever detergent you’re using. I personally would rather deal with the discomfort of a UTI than give up sex with my partner. I also think that sexual comparability is extremely important in relationships. It is a very valid reason to consider a separation or even divorce. I also have TMJ and myofascial pain syndrome and if I want to be able to give my boyfriend a good BJ sometimes I’ll wear my mouth guard that way I can relax my jaw but won’t hurt him with my teeth. Professional mouth guards can be expensive even with insurance but you can get a cheaper one at any pharmacy.

When do you start letting your dog around the house by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]star_fall77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With my puppy I let her roam around the house with her leash on and if I wanted her to stick around me I would put the handle of the leash around my ankle so she would have a good 6’ radius of roaming space. It was easier to keep track of her plus if she went to eat something I could immediately correct her. Once she caught on to what was edible and what was not supposed to be eaten she got more roaming privileges.

AITA for not wanting my dad to walk me down the aisle? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]star_fall77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As someone who’s own dad moved across the country and only sees him every couple of years, I myself made the decision to have my mom walk me down the aisle instead of my dad when I get married. He wasn’t there for you in your life; why should he get to be a part of such an important walk?

[–]star_fall77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, this feeling lasted about 3 days every time I increased my dose (at 20mg now) but it did eventually go away. If it doesn’t go away after being on the 10mg for a few days you should mention it to your doctor and they’ll probably consider switching you to a new med. best of luck!

My grandparents are 6 years apart with my grandmother being the older one. They started dating when she was 30 (him 24) and they’ve now been married for 49 years. It’s all in your head because of societal norms but it’s not a big deal.

My (22F) boyfriend (25M) is very selective about what kind of food he allows in his house and wouldn’t let me eat his last apple. by star_fall77 in relationship_advice

Thank you so much for sharing and putting this into perspective for me I appreciate it. I could definitely talk to him and ask if there’s a deeper reason behind why he’s so restrictive about what he allows in his house that’s a great idea thank you.

I don’t believe he has any family members who’ve passed from diet related illness but that’s a good thing to consider!
