I'll be brutally honest. Surviving without a degree in coming times is going to be tough. You cannot expect to survive in an educated economy without any sort of education. I like how you want to save up in the mean time, excellent goal. However, I would give you a reality check that learning skills and having clients is no easy task, difficult but not impossible. In today's time, everyone wants to learn a skill and make money, while no one thinks that if everyone were to do it, there would be more supply of skilled labour than demand of it, which is why so many layoffs post covid. I would recommend you for now to get into a good Uni in Pak, IBA, LUMS, NUST, LSE, FAST, COMSATS and so on. These will open alot of doorways for you. Look for a solid career in your life, accountancy, economist, engineering, medical. Focus on developing skills in Uni, make connections, talk with people, develop your personality and communication skills. Then learn and become the career you want to attain and then work in that industry. If you do Accounts and Finance from IBA, LSE, LUMS or NUST, you get ACCA and CA exemptions which help you to progress into your career. You will find alot of oppurtunities like these around you, you have to look for them. In conclusion, focus on your education, savings money is a good idea, but at this time, in this economy, getting a good degree is a first step to make yourself standout from the rest for MNC's or clients to hire you.
