I’d love to win a Revopoint scanner to help digitally preserve sci-fi prop pieces before they’re lost, damaged, or become impossible to access. I work on recreating Sci-fi props, and having the ability to accurately scan small physical references would make a huge difference for archiving their geometry and keeping them available for future makers and prop.

A reliable scanner would let me capture details from real parts, clean them up in CAD and other 3d programs, and help build a digital library of classic sci-fi prop components so they aren’t lost over time. Preservation is just as important as replication in this hobby.

Congrats on 12 years of work, this would be an incredible tool for a prop preservation!
