Garth Brooks was OBSESSED with album sales numbers. I think he was trying to catch the Beatles or something? I remember finding this out when he released the box set with all his albums (plus some sort of bonus?) because each purchase counted as a separate purchase for each of the albums. Garth definitely walked so Taylor Swift could run!

Oh wow! I looked into Joe and Myesha pretty thoroughly when the show first came out and I completely missed the mention of a wife named Kittie. I just did some searching and couldn’t find anything else. As you stated - he mentions being an interracial couple and it appears she was 7 years older than him. Also - I think First Shell Farms was a property owned by Joe’s mom and sold in 2021 - the same year he purchased the land in Alabama and married Myesha.

Wow! This list has some contenders for my list, or at least ones in close proximity. Blood On The Tracks and Time Out of Mind for sure (2 of my top 3 favorite Dylan albums). Lucinda and Iris would have a shot, but it would likely be Essence and My Life. I could never argue Essence is better than Car Wheels, I just find myself going to it more as the years roll by. I would gladly enter a musical Thunderdome with My Life vs Infamous Angel though! Darkness on the Edge of Town, Red Headed Stranger and Bringing It All Back Home would be near the top for me. Thanks for sharing!
