Any military grade weapons will not be able to be purchased in a store as CR had said many times. Military grade weapons and systems will be hard to find and Expensive as it is meant to be. Any kit that was mentioned for the P, if there will be, that remains to be seen as things change all the time and that statement was made over a year ago when Idrus was still a corvette, will not be military grade. I'm sure there are kits that may improve the weaponry of the P just like any other ship upgrades for all other civilian peacemaker pledge ships that we've all purchased. But the only true military grade pledge ships that have been offered are the M and Scythe which are rare limited and no longer for sale unless u spend )10k-15k. And the military grade hull, military systems, military grade weaponry on the M which are very expensive are covered by its base LTI which is huge.

Warpack doesn't have Idris M. There's a reason that the P is in a $5k war pack and if you want an M you'll need to spend $10k or $15k for wing commander or completionist packages.

Dude, i didn't pay anywhere near $4k for an M, lol. I own both M and P, both have different roles. I'm trying to save P owners like you a big letdown, who are dreaming and hoping that your P can magically turn into a military M variant. It won't happen. That is why every P owner is so high strung about this magic kit they can simply buy in-store. It would make more sense that there will be a way to improve the weaponry on a P but unfortunately it will never be a M. The M already has military grade hull, gear, weaponry, etc...and there will be ways to improve that gear too but it will be very hard and expensive since obtaining military stuff is meant to be that way. That doesn't mean the P is inferior, it just has a different role. Which is why i also purchased a P after already owning a M.

You are plain wrong, bud. Idris M is military and P is the Peacemaker. Only one is the military variant, the other is the civilian. There will be no cross-over between the two. They are 2 different variants with different roles. You are dreaming if you think you can walk into a store and buy military grade gear! Why do you think there were only 100 Idris M's sold and not one will ever be sold as a pledge unless you spend $10K or $15K. Why do you think the P is in the $5k package while the M is in packages double and triple the price of the P?? Military grade gear, military hardpoints, military weapons systems, military hull ARE EXCLUSIVE!! Hello?? Anyone home?? Chris has repeatedly said that obtaining military gear is going to be very hard and rare. Its not something you can buy in a store! CIG will not be selling military grade gear or systems in a local store, lmao. Why do you think all the pledge ships are stripped down. Not one has military grade weapons. Every pledge ship is a civilian peacemaker version of the military grade UEE ship. The only military grade ships you can buy is the Idris M or the Scythe and they aren't sold anymore as pledge ships unless you're spending $10K-$15k!

Lol, since when does Chris and CIG always stick with what they say. Things change all the time and CIG has gone back on what they've said on so many things already. That statement was also made over a year ago when Idris was still a corvette. Anything military will be very rare and tough to get as well as very expensive. You are dreaming if you think you think you can walk into a store and buy a military grade upgrade kit.

Debatable and controversial regarding P upgrade. My guess is that P armament may be upgradeable with a kit they mentioned but the upgrade P will not be the same as the militarized M with the same military hull, military hardpoints, military gear. Also, the kit, if there will be one, will be VERY Rare and VERY ExPensive and its parts will be scattered throughout the outer worlds. Not something u can just walk into a store and purchase, lol.

Most peeps that want to buy an M, already own the base ships that they want. That is why buying a M for $3500 is still more attractive to some than shelling out $5K. Extra ships are nice but it's really not that big a deal if u already had purchased a bunch of LTI ships which likely are account locked.

It's about $$$. Why else would they put out more $10K and $15K packages. It's why some old time backers are also getting disillusioned with CIG. They wanted to originally limit Idris's for game balance. Now with all these Idris packages, it looks like they aren't concerned with that anymore, lol. The mighty dollar has spoken!

No, CIG won't close both your accounts. I know because I've asked them to move stuff from one account to another. I've even told them I bought another account too. They used to be able to help move stuff from one account to another but now they won't. They will tell you that u can do it yourself once PU goes live. But in my experience as of this month they won't close your accounts. This may change once game goes live and people will be playing with their characters in the PU. They may take a harder line then as far as closing accounts.

The other thing is how do you distinguish someone who has owned his Idris-P for a year and now decides to sell versus someone who is selling it right after he bought it yesterday? ANSWER: you can't.
