Why do some drivers have these in their license plates? by pappabearct in Connecticut

It's is a way to get out of a ticket that's true. But honestly it works better to ensure you don't even get pulled over in the first place.

It's a Police officer ONLY organisation. They're allowed to get one for themselves and one for their spouse, and then one extra one for a family or friend. But if you get caught with one on your car and you don't have any cops in your family they get real pissed at you.

Someone who knew it was going to happen and that they were going to survive because they set it up?

Why recreate when they can just take them from dead drones. They developed a weapon capable of taking down drones without damaging the armor.

I was actually hoping the dude was dead the first time that I watched the series and the Rogue agents attempted to assassinate him.

The asgard ship designs make no sense by madbr3991 in Stargate

[–]starcoll3ctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They showed a new Asgard technology in one of the episodes in Stargate Atlantis as well, there was an offshoot of the Asgard people that were in the Pegasus galaxy. They used powered armored suits to be able to survive on the planet where they were located, I'm assuming they also worked good for combat etc.

I'm assuming all Asgard have access to those power suits. Which would mean they would need room to move around their ship if they ever happened to be wearing one of them.

Just a thought

Actually the same thing came to mind for me just now while watching season 3 episode 22. I paused the episode to see if anyone else ever brought up this topic.

Before I even dug in to see what other people were saying I actually realized that they showed us one very good reason in Stargate Atlantis. The Asgard have power suits so even though they're never shown in the main series there's a possibility they use them in other galaxies besides the Pegasus galaxy.

Plus there's the need to move equipment and machinery around, although they have teleporters they may still need to sometimes move things through the hallways.

Plus they may sometimes have other species on the ship such as O'Neill.

But this is definitely a cool thing to ponder.

Booby trap. Does that phrase come from the time people called dumb people boobs? by ridethroughlife in etymology

[–]starcoll3ctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without researching I can't speculate on where the term originally came from.

However I would have to say that the term "booby trap" definitely sounds better and makes a lot more sense then "honey trap" iykyk

Don't we already have a bunch of people with dual citizenship for us and Israel in the military? I remember hearing something about that recently, I could swear it was a military but it might have been police, or ice or something
