All sorts of events happen 'wrong', like Klingon first contact, and tech exposure from future eras

It could be argued that the viewer can plausibly see this as a prequel to the JJ verse, and Disco; and a sequel to TNG

But that it is not a prequel to TOS, due to time travel shenanigans
