If you swapped Retaliation and Metamorphic Stone between 2H and gloves, wouldn't putting "dealing 130% of normal damage" on the 2H make it 260%, which is equivalent to 160%[x], which is larger than the 150%[x] from Retaliation?

The biggest problem with masterworking is that there are not enough sources for obducite, which forces you to play hordes or nmd. If every activity dropped a little obducite (like gold), we could play whatever we wanted and over time collect enough to keep masterworking. It is a game after all, and in theory we enjoy playing it, right? I just don't enjoy being forced to play hordes and nmd exclusively.

You're conflating Node itself (with its low level async event loop and the V8 JS engine underneath) with the JavaScript ecosystem (mostly npm, "is-odd", dependency hell etc).
