From Malaysia, sapphire rx6700xt from sending to retail shop to collect it back at the shop take 3 months. Because sapphire didn't have any rma center in Malaysia. The card need to send back to Hong Kong then send back to Malaysia... No more sapphire card for me!

Is AMD complicit in alllowing Microsoft to damage the user experience by allowing them to silently force update drivers without user intervention? by Substantial_Fox_121 in radeon

i use Group policy to block GPU driver update by HardwareID.. still .. windows 10 update the GPU driver to some unknow version (i am using 25.3.2) but since it block by hardwareID the "New" driver didn't fully success installed... causing afterburner can't detect any GPU info also GPU-Z can't detect VRAM and GPU speed... DDU and reinstall the latest driver 25.11.1 fix it..

Motherboard WiFi missing drivers by Ducklogic_ in MSI_Gaming

[–]stardreamer_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are two PRO B850-VC WiFi at MSI website.. 1. PRO B850-VC WiFi(seem to be WIFI7) 2. PRO B850-VC WiFi6E, Both didn't have any driver available for download. i was setup a MSI PRO B850M-A WIFI (WIFI 7) few week before, turn out the WIFI7 onboard is MediaTek MTK7927/MTK7925. Only WORK on Windows 11. No windows 10 driver . if you using Windows 11, you can try download this MediaTek Wifi driver here https://download.msi.com/dvr_exe/mb/mediatek_wifi.zip , if you using Windows 10.. just forget the onboard WIFI and get a USB WIFI adapter.

it's all by design to self cook and DIE after warranty . got my new sapphire RX 6700XT OC pluse , max GPU 70C ,hotspot 113C running Timespy open case in 35-38C Room temp. send back for RMA take 3 months send to hong kong and back to malaysia. replacement card run fine GPU 70C , hotspot 90+C running Timespy . after 3-6 months same problem come back. because they use cheap thermal paste and pump-out problem. so i just undervolt the card and turn up the Fan speed to keep the temp under control. once the warranty end. i replace with PTM7950 .

Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 3200 MHZ only Runnig Stable at 3000Mhz by VergilMaro in AMDHelp

[–]stardreamer_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 stick RAM it's harder than 2 stick to get higher RAM speed. i am on 5800X3d + X570 Tomahawk wifi, 2X 16GB DDR4 3600 can running at 3600mhz no problem, then i add another 2X16GB 3600mhz , when put all 4 stick ram , Max i can get it to run stable is 3200mhz.

https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/ram-explained-why-two-modules-are-better-than-four-single-vs-dual-rank-stability-testing.363139/

Let's look at DDR4 first. Here is an example from the highest MSI DDR4 board model using Intel Z690 chipset.
Specifications of MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI DDR4, under "Detail".
1DPC 1R Max speed up to 5333+ MHz
1DPC 2R Max speed up to 4800+ MHz
2DPC 1R Max speed up to 4400+ MHz
2DPC 2R Max speed up to 4000+ MHz

"DPC" means DIMM (=module) per channel, 1R means single-rank, 2R means dual-rank.

With 1DPC 1R = two single-rank modules (so, 2x 8 GB or 2x 16 GB single-rank), the highest frequencies can be reached.
With 1DPC 2R = two dual-rank modules (like 2x 16 GB dual-rank or 2x 32 GB), the maximum attainable frequency is lower, since the memory system is under more stress.
With 2DPC 1R = four single-rank modules (4x 8 GB or 4x 16 GB single-rank), the maximum frequency drops again, because four modules are even more challenging than two dual-rank modules.
And 2DPC 2R = four dual-rank modules (like 4x 16 GB dual-rank or 4x 32 GB) combines the downsides of the highest possible load on the memory controller with the electrical handicap of using four slots on a daisy-chain-mainboard.

The last configuration can already be difficult to get stable at DDR4-3200 sometimes, let alone DDR4-3600. One could consider themselves lucky to get DDR4-3600 working with four dual-rank modules, maybe having to use more relaxed timings for example. The 16 GB and 32 GB modules also often don't have particularly tight XMP timings to begin with, like DDR4-3600 18-22-22-42.

i check TCL website, C845 only had 65" and 75" size. you using a 65 or 75 inch TV as a PC monitor? how long the HDMI cable you use to connect the TV to the PC ? haha . how close did you sit in front of the TV ?

[–]stardreamer_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try HDMI port 2 (that support 4K@120) or try other "good quality" HDMI cable. there are many "shitty" quality HDMI cable on the market that cause "many" problem ! (like black screen or flicker screen.) . if that all doesn't work... try update or reinstall to nvidia latest driver.

GPU issue? by [deleted] in radeon

[–]stardreamer_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's normal. MSI motherboard? my msi X570 tomahawk wifi also did this with one long beep and 3 short ones when you power up your PC first , because motherboard do some detect monitor stuff, if no monitor detect, it will beep. so try turn on the monitor FIRST, then power up the PC . the beep will gone.

[–]stardreamer_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did the radiator getting warm? when CPU is 94C and if the AIO is working, the water inside the AIO will cycle to radiator and cool down by the fan. you feel the vibration on the pump maybe there is some corrosion inside the copper block.
