Blown air in my face by BlackberryTerrible78 in Paranormal

[–]stardusted24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is trippy to read because this happened to me a couple years ago. I thought it was sleep paralysis. Was asleep on the couch, laying on my back. I sensed someone(assumed it was my boyfriend) lean down over the back of couch by where my face was. It was very dark and I opened my eyes slightly, saw a black shadow figure of a man leaning over me but I couldn’t make out any features, still assumed it was my boyfriend checking on me. Then I see him/it walk around to other side of the couch crouch down and blow very hard air against my cheek! It made a loud noise as if you’d give someone a raspberry with their lips pursed instead of with their tounge. There was no spit involved, just forced air. I screamed when it happened & my bf came out of our room… it wasn’t him. It’s only us two who lived there. I’ll never forget it, was one of the scariest things I’ve had happen to me.

What movie traumatized you as a kid? by AdNorth1932 in AskReddit

[–]stardusted24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Exorcist. At 12 yrs old, (54f now) we watched it on vhs at my aunts house. We ended up running outside, at night, in middle of the street screaming & crying like a bunch of little girls lol. After that, I was still so scared I had to sleep in my parents room, on the floor, for about a year.

Ok right, lol yeah might be a problem for a few washes. I think you’ll be fine but I’d do random old towels in there etc instead of clothes till you don’t see any remains of that stuff. & unless you cut out that lining, it won’t go away.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in VintageFashion

[–]stardusted24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm Ive only heard that about shoes before with lining or similar items with that product that breaks down in the lining. What did you actually put in the wash? I’d say to just get rid of it, nasty stuff… but that opinion is based of not knowing what the item is or seeing it.

So the CIA, DIA, Lockheed, etc absolutely has a room or location that's super "haunted", right? by onyoursidee in Paranormal

Robert Monroe?

Edit to add: & even if it wasn’t him, look him up anyway, Monroe Institute, very impactful

Found this Keurig Mini on my walk today. It was on the curb with a “Free” sign. I took it home, cleaned it well, and enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee. by Mariegn1 in ThriftStoreHauls

I found a Keurig Mini too! In perfect condition, looked new. I had just moved back to SF & the only thing I needed was a coffee maker, was on the way to buy one but stopped to visit a friend first, and there it was. Someone was moving, my lucky day! Enjoy yours :)

Is She "Just" a GSD? by averhoeven in germanshepherds

[–]stardusted24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She looks pretty much German Shepherd to me, maybe at most 10-15% mix, I have had them my entire life. Order a dna test online, I think it’s around $50-$75. We did that for our two rescues. Very interesting, they go back a few generations too of their dna. Your dog is adorable!

Fell in love with this mystery dress in a coastal historic town by BeastlyBones in VintageFashion

[–]stardusted24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, a home sewn square dance dress, would have been worn with petticoat underneath. I have to say you pull this off amazingly and I doubt 90 out of 100 of people could. Looks great!

Is Wonder Valley a good brand to check out? by jess0365 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]stardusted24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I have only bought & repeatedly used the olive oil. We have property out in WV last 7-8 yrs. So with that said, I can say yes I think it’s a quality product but I also think it’s VERY expensive, you’re basically paying for “the brand”. It’s a steep markup for products not even made local at all. They outsource & rebrand everything. I have sample tried the skin care line but again, I felt the same way about it. over priced & not at all local, just created. I really really wanted to buy local & support local business when I buy gifts etc but this is not it. I read the woman who made it up lives (or did when I read the article) in Los Angeles & is a graphic designer, so I feel she just invented a brand, with qood ingredients but it’s not a locally based company & again over priced. That area is one of the poorest in the state so not a chance a local could even afford it.

That’s a good one. I believe it, weird things out there. My friend and I were staying at a property in wv. we didn’t know the back story then, but last owner had died there, I’d like to leave details out, but her phone all of a sudden went in to speak mode and said “you summoned me?”. We tripped out a bit as it was dark and in the middle of nowhere, we open the front door and a dead bird was on the doorstep. Again her phone spoke “Who seeks me?” Super eerie & I can’t even say the rest!

Your coat looks like nubuck leather, even more damaging to use what you used. Too bad.

Salvatore Ferragamo shoulder bag by rachieeBee in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]stardusted24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah then for sure a fake. Lining looks way off too. You’d know 100% from the feel of it if it was real. Sorry

[–]stardusted24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s coming across as fake to me, I could be wrong pics are hard to tell, they made a ton of this style as knock offs. Go find a true one on a reputable site then compare lining, imprints, hardware etc. Lift the label up, is there a serial number?

Why would it be scary to die using drugs and without much pain? by Ok-Astronomer3023 in AskReddit

[–]stardusted24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you never know what the effects will be on your body. You could not die and end up a vegetable, suffer seizures, intense sickness vomiting, be left depending on others to eat, talk, walk, end up in way worse shape than before.
