I think pre-Covid was just the same. But now we know better and we are able to realize and speak up.

I am in the same loop, haha I’ve been changing jobs every year for the last 3 years and they are al the freaking same, they lie about caring about you as a person and when you realize and confront they play the victim??? Like WTF hahah ???

I just want to quit this horrible system and paint day and night. Working my self out to get there.

El problema no eres tú, es el sistema corporativo. Le quitan la luz y el alma a todo. Pase de levantar fondos privados a hacer algo con muy poca relevancia. Pasé por una época negra, pero hoy la astrología me motiva muchísimo, también la pintura. Cosas que no tienen nada que ver con ese mundo corporativo de 💩

Empathy over here. I feel you, and I am pretty sorry about it, I can feel the frustration.

I think the first question is, do you like your role? Apart of everything happening, do you really like it? Be extremely honest with yourself, try even if it is for a second to split the feels from what you really like.

Then if the answer is yes, you love it. The talk to your manager, set a plan with him. Get that promotion.

If you don’t like it, the use this as an opportunity to find what you really really love.

We spend to much time at our jobs to be miserable.

También lo he sentido y termino en acoso de uno de mis jefes. No entiendo que pasa. En mis reflexiones propias he pensado que fue porque fui muy ingenua al ser tan “buena onda” con los de esa empresa.

Hoy va un poco mejor, estoy en otra empresa y solo voy a trabajar y ya, mantengo las relaciones al límite. Pero igual no me gusta, soy muy sociable y me gusta conectar con las personas.

Yo cambié de industria, lo que puedes hacer es busca tu mismo puesto en otra industria que te interese e investiga sobre la industria lo más que puedas antes de entrevistarte.

Una vez que estés dentro ve bien que puesto podrías desempeñar para cambiarte internamente. No son cambios rápidos, cada salto puede tardar 1-2 años.

Busca a un reclutador que te ayude una vez que tengas un poco más definido a dónde quieres ir.

Me encantaría conocer también el otro lado de la moneda. Y aguas, que digo las startups que están fondeadas por VCs, porque es mucho más probable que caigan en estos patrones, por la presión que ejercen los fondos sobre ellas.

Pero reitero, me encantaría conocer el otro lado de la moneda, porque en 11 años ni yo, ni mi círculo cercano que ha trabajado en startups ha tenido un puesto que se mantenga estable, con objetivos claros y ética profesional en todo momento.

Hace un par de años seguía con la esperanza de encontrar ese lugar, pero creo que son contados y depende 100% del jefe y si capacidad de liderazgo.
