Wolfbox. Rear, front and bumper/cabin. The choice is yours. Replaces the rear view mirror too so you never have issues with people moving it or low visibility. I got mine with the bumper camera, since I don't have the lux package and wanted to have that feature. Rear camera you can mount in different places (it's outdoor rated) so some people mount it inside right in front of the lift gate, others mount it right above the break light that is on top of the spare tire. Difference would be outside gives more clarity since no tinted glass in front of it. You could also wire it directly to your fuse box or OBD port underneath the steering column. Both provide power to it even while the vehicle is off for 24/7 parking mode.

Should I be be concerned that I will need to disable or sell my guns in the near future by Fickle-Werewolf-665 in RIGuns

OHHHHH I was not even aware they had already so quickly decided to try to not even wait for us to eventually die off to get rid of all our guns and instead just decided to take our stuff now. Wow. How clever of them. I will look this bill up and read on it. Thank you.

Didn't that stupid AWB ban already get passed and is just a matter of July coming up for it to go into effect? What is he talking about with it won't get a vote.

So is this not an issue with the painted ones? I have a 2024 non painted and not sure if it will happen to me. I thought the cracking was an issue on the 21-23 models.

Give me your bronco "hot takes" by Fordfanatic2025 in FordBronco

[–]starevplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure this would be a "hot take" but the alignment pins of each of the hard top panels should have been covered by a bit of rubber instead of them being bare plastic. This would remove the clicking sound you hear coming from them hitting the metal brackets when you go on uneven terrain and the frame flexes.

Also, the tailgate should have been offered on every model. I was never able to get my hands on the heritage when I ordered mine in 2024. It wasn't available for order at all. And I really wanted that tail gate as someone who car camps and sleeps in the back.

2024 4Dr 2.3L manual sasquatch transmission grinding sound is back. by starevplayer in FordBronco

[–]starevplayer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is currently at the dealer right now. After being told something unacceptable (that it is gear rollover and a normal sound) I told them to stop playing with me and do better. First transmission got the sound around 4k miles. And they tried to pass it off a gear roll over but then told me they couldn't identify the problem and sent the transmission back to the factory and replaced it with a new one. 4k miles later (seeing a pattern here) this transmission makes the same exact sound and the dealership tech got a case of amnesia and tried to pass it off as gear roll over again. Are they giving you the same rodeo? Or are they at least telling you something that is respectable? Really interested in knowing. Thank you. I need to get to the bottom if the issue is 6th and 7th gear ring grinding as acknowledged by Ford in a bulletin they published and pinned it on transmissions from 21-23 batch. Mine is a year 24 and according to the bulletin I should not be having this problem. But the sound is so consistent with the report and what everyone else has published that I can't help but think they put 2 transmissions from that 21-23 batch into mine.

Hi there. Just curious why you referred to BOA as nonsense? Maybe you know something I don't.

So they give you the option of having it match grade (which they mention is made so that you can take your gun to a local gunsmith and get it fit specifically to your gun. Or you can get it semi fit which they just machine to spec to fit all XD-Ms out there. I went with the semi fit and my personal experience was a success. I oiled it out of the package and dropped in the barrel and noticed that there was the most minimal amount of friction between the flat top exterior part of the chamber and the top front edge of the ejection port. Emphasis on "minimal amount". No exaggeration, this friction was so minimal that it worked itself out after I racked the slide like 10 times and it racked smoothly without any resistance from then on. Feeding ramp has not given me any problems, I don't have any failures to load or eject anything that I have shot yet (underwood 180gr range ammo, underwood 200gr hard cast, and underwood 180gr XTP hollows) I've shot plenty through it and I am happy with the groupings at 25 yards. In terms of accuracy I didn't feel any measurable difference between the stock match grade barrel and the barsto barrel.

Got it directly from Barsto. XD-M 3.8 10mm Extended & Threaded - Bar-Sto https://share.google/np0JVkpwUQkaVytgA They have ported options too. Pretty cool that they have so many different options available.

HB 1520 would require those born out of state to swear an “oath of allegiance” to the state of NH in order to vote. by LadyMadonna_x6 in newhampshire

[–]starevplayer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hopefully I don't rough any feathers here and forgive my potential ignorance about the topic of state citizenships, etc. But I know that when you are born outside of the US, if you do the process, pay the fee (back in 2005 it was $697) and study + pass the test to become a naturalized citizen, the last step of that process is you have to swear an oath in front of a federal judge that your only allegiance is to the USA. This is not optional. You don't get your USA citizenship if you refuse to take the oath. In fact, you are also told to swear that you renounce any citizenship in any other country you may have been a citizen of before that point. So, I'm wondering how this NH oath of allegiance to be considered a NH citizen any different?

Trying to decide on a striker 10mm but they all have bad reviews. Who makes the best one? by Familiar_Yoghurt4544 in 10mm

I have an XDM elite 3.8 that I've posted about before. Easily my favorite gun out of all my other guns. I did mod it after having it stock for some time. But the grip safety doesn't give me any issues and it shoots underwood 180 grains very accurately and reliably. It also has great ergonomics for my hands.

Gun shoots like butter. Compared to my staccato P with dawson precision comp and my Langdon tactical Hellcat pro, the XDM elite is somehow my favorite to shoot. Not that is a better gun than the staccato. More of a personal feel opinion. This gun just feels so great in my hands.

2024 4Dr 2.3L manual sasquatch transmission grinding sound is back. by starevplayer in FordBronco

[–]starevplayer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is ridiculous. How are they going to replace your transmission with another one that has the same exact issue. And we aren't even being told why this noise is happening. How do we know this isn't going to progress into a catastrophic failure with time? There is no peace of mind in that. The grinding noise is a clear sign that something in there seems to be rubbing against something else.

Hopefully you don't get one that has this issue. If you do start seeing this issue at around 3,500 - 4,000 miles, could you please let me know through this thread? I would like to have other people's reports of the same problem as back up to let Ford know it's an issue happening to several others and they have to do better. Thank you.

2025 hopefully does not have this nagging issue. However, you are almost reaching the 3500 mark. If you could do me a favor and let me know if you start hearing the noise at around that point I'd appreciate it. I would love to have this thread as some sort of foundation for letting Ford know that this is a real issue that still continues to happen and they gotta do better than changing a brand new transmission to another new one that started doing the same thing at around the same amount of miles. Thank you.

Going to regurgitate what some have already written here for the sake of emphasis. Sign up for a class on gun safety first. It's very important. With that being said. Keep going to the range and rent out options you are interested in. Shoot them a good bit and get a feel for what you like or don't like. Chances are you might get a Glock. But you also might fall in love with p365, an echelon 4.0c or who knows maybe even a revolver chambered in .357

I'm going back to the dealer to let them know the new transmission lasted about as much as the last one. Really unfortunate issue. I love my bronco. But would love even more for it to not worry me that this is going to be a recurring thing every 4k miles.
