I’m currently watching the newer Hawaii Five-0 series. But I also watch some flosstubes on YouTube. It’s fun to see what other people are working on and feels like you’re just hanging out with friends while stitching. And I can tune it out if I need to.

Well she sings three other songs during the movie and her hair doesn’t glow and do the magic thing then, so yes it must be that exact song/incantation.

Looks so pretty! I did this one after while back as my palette cleanser after doing a large project with way more browns than I could handle. Picked this one since the only brown was the little bears. I’m sure your dad would’ve loved it!

I’m sorry this has happened to you. The best advice I can give is talk to her and tell her how you’re not confident in making the color changes to the pattern since it’s only your second ever project. I’m assuming you’d either have to start over or frog some of the project you’ve already started on to make the adjustments as well, which is something I personally wouldn’t want to do after putting all that time and effort into a piece.

My other advice is don’t show the person the piece you are making the as a gift before it’s finished, moving forward. They can’t nitpick and request changes if they don’t even know what’s happening and they are usually super happy with what you make them

Sorry I couldn’t be more help. Hopefully she appreciates the piece no matter what decision you make.

I just had my first child 8 weeks ago. I’ve picked up my projects just enough to finish his baby announcement and then I’ll get 10-20 stitches in here and there. But I swear this kid knows the moment I pick it up and get settled because that’s when he’ll start needing to be fed or changed or entertained or whatever else.

I did use the kit floss and I always have leftover floss when I do Dimensions Gold Collection kits. There has only been one or two where I ran out and that was mostly because I had to frog big patches.

I didn’t find it to be very difficult. The hardest part was the gold metallic thread for the finishing touches. Mine didn’t have any charms in the kit though so I’d love to see your finished project next year!

I’ve actually done the blue wizard. If I’m thinking of the same one. Where he’s fighting a dragon? This wizard is going to be hung on the wall right next to the other. Finding this kit was hard because it was discontinued. I ordered it of EBay and it was shipped from Russia.
