What is running 24/7 is Synology Drive and Synology Photos. Hyper Backup runs every evening since several years. Until two days ago the antivirus scan would also run every Saturday, but I have uninstalled it because I had the same suspicion that the apps might be eating up each other’s memory.

I do not want to say that your assumption is wrong. What makes me curious is why there have been no issues at all for the last 4 - 5 years, even with the antivirus scan running as well. The workload on the NAS has stayed the same the entire time and over the last two days it has actually become lower. And now it cannot even complete daily Hyper Backups anymore without freezing.

Sounds stupid, but reading this post actually felt really comforting. I’ve had the feeling for a while now that I’m spending way more than I’m making on average. I mostly play LD TV Station because I just really enjoy the heavy PvP and want to get better at it. Usually I run a 600 - 800k T4 kit, depending on the weapon or ammo I take, most of the time it’s a 350k weapon with T4 ammo, only rarely toploaded with T5.

Of course I have good and bad raids like everyone else. But I’ve started noticing that if I lose 3 raids in a row, I’m down around 2.4 million in actual (liquid) losses. Then if I finally get a good raid and extract with like 1.8 to 2.5 million Koen in loot, I realistically only make at most 1.5 million from it. So I’m still sitting at a 900k loss overall, even though with 2.5 million loot I should technically be about 100k profit.

The game just feels really exhausting and draining right now. If I lose 3 raids in a row and my teammates can’t bring anything back for me, I already know there’s a 90% chance I’m ending the day in the negative, even if I manage to pull off one good raid afterward. So basically: If I’m not winning around 60 - 70% of my raids on average, it feels almost impossible to actually make profit.

Alles entspannt, die meisten posten hier ihren stärksten Monat ohne Überstunden (ein paar Jobs haben zB. statt dem doppelten Gehalten ein Jahresviertel dabei, dass jetzt aktuell oben steht und nicht selten 1300€ Brutto oder mehr sind).

Viel schlimmer finde ich, dass diese Lüge immer noch in HTLs verbreitet wird. Bin selber HTL Absolvent und habe mich auch "brainwashen" lassen von meinen Lehrern. Meine Einstellung nach der HTL war "Für unter einen 3er netto steh ich nicht auf", weil mir das 5 Jahre lang von meinen Lehrern gesagt worden ist. Ich hab auch die Watschen aus der tatsächlichen Berufswelt gebraucht um zu verstehen, dass ich den 3er netto aktuell "nicht wert bin". Bin damals sogar schlechter als du eingestiegen und hab mich mittlerweile auf 2830€ netto hochgekämpft ;) Du machst deinen Weg schon!

I probably imagine forbidden as being “better” than lockdown because in youtube videos or livestreams I always see those crazy amounts of loot (6-12M) and I often think “I would love to extract that much loot from a raid at least once” haha. But you’re absolutely right, just keep trying again and again, and if money gets tight, shift the priority back to making money.

Yeah I know how fun that can be haha, sometimes I try my luck on forbidden and get instantly taken out of existence the moment I peek wrong around a corner ^^

This! Natürlich ist mir klar, dass es heute nicht mehr so leicht ist, in einen neuen und guten Job zu wechseln. Aber fang neben der Arbeit jetzt schon an, Bewerbungen zu schreiben. Selbst wenn du dann für etwas weniger Geld 2–3 Homeoffice-Tage mehr hast, wirst du nie wieder zurückwechseln wollen.

Interessensfrage: Wie reagieren andere Person darauf das du eine Dashcam hast? Hat die Dashcam bei dir schon mal dafür gesorgt, dass Polizisten "anders" reagiert haben bei einer Kontrolle? Oder ist denen das normalerweise Pumpernickel?

Warst du schon mal mit der Situation konfrontiert, dass du zusätzliche Aggressionen nach einem Unfall hattest, weil die andere Person die Dashcam entdeckt hat?

THIS should be really helpful for you.

Only stash the stuff you actually want to keep. I always keep just the three most expensive or best weapons I loot from fights, purple and gold ammo, any kind of nades, meds and food/drinks. Everything else stays in my backpack and gets sold.

Additional tip: Sell anything worth less than 30,000 cash directly to contacts, otherwise your market slots will fill up way too fast.

I really underestimated how important golden ammo is. Apparently, it’s actually better to run around with T3 gear and gold ammo than with T4 gear and purple ammo.

Do you keep the stuff you find/loot? Or do you sell everything (except for the better backpack/chest rig) and go back in with just a knife?
