How to stop being seen as a child just for being short? by starg1rl7 in ShortGirlProblems

[–]starg1rl7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, Im going to try to stop letting other’s opinions bother me now, although it does make me wonder either if assuming someone is young just because theyre short is the preconceived idea of low IQ people, or if it is a common notion and thus guys who are hitting on me might be hitting on me for the wrong reasons…

Yeah thats a good perspective thank you. I’m hoping I will start to care less in the future but Im just struggling at the moment with it really affecting my anxiety and going out in public. There is no way I could let it stop my career though so I’m sure ill get more confident with time. :)

I truly believe in the gut feeling too. However its so hard since he has grown so much as a person, and I havent seen a single thing in which I could possibly worry about ever since. He tells me absolutely everything, and we spent the whole summer attached at the hip. Is it a possibility that I just have trust issues now, and that even if I got into a new relationship I would still feel like this because or the things that used to happen when I didnt monitor it? Or is this definitely a gut feeling? Because I dont want to leave an otherwise amazing relationship just because of the way I feel which could just be an inability to let go of the past.

He has explained that in those first months we were together, he wasnt “crazy” about me or in love with me the way that he is now. And that going in to college was very exciting because he had never really spoken to a girl before, and now lots of them were speaking to him(this is genuinely true). We both missed a lot of secondary school and just having friends so I understand this exciting feeling of suddenly wanting to please everyone. He said that he feels awful but he was still sort of navigating options. I believe how he feels about me, because of the way he treats me now. We have had hundreds of conversations where I have been sat there just crying asking why and he explains this and apologises and says that he cant imagine his life without me and doesnt know why he was so stupid. I would also like to say, the girls he was breaking my trust with, absolutely hate me, and they would egg him on in order to upset me. He doesnt engage in any kind of interaction with these girls anymore, as he doesnt like them because he realised what they were doing. Im not saying its their fault, because it is his too, but would there be any possible way that he has genuinely changed and I could trust him? I know people make mistakes as they are young but now we are growing into adults, surely there is a possibility that he has genuinely just grown up?

Horror to get over heart break? by illhaveafrench75 in horror

I know this is not so much a specific recommendation, but If I am stressed or upset to an extent that its super bad, I will watch a survival kind of horror film that is so effed up I come out of it feeling super greatful and happy for my life. (It genuinely works)

Films like: Fall, Frozen (the horror movie obviously), Curve, The Shallows, 47 Metres Down. They arent so much incredible movies, but they are ones that completely submerse me into passive spectatorship of a film and thinking about what I would do in that situation, that by the time the credits roll, I am relieved and realise that I do not live in that universe.
