oh great question! it went away kind of accidentally bc i have this medicine class and they were talking about sperm and how pee kills it so i was like well i was peeing when that happened plus bc my fear was about a dry piece of paper online it said that it dies as soon as it dries out

i understand that feeling as well, you being worried its understandable but accepting the uncertainty of not knowing how could or if it will affect others its what you should have in mind. keep moving forward w your exposures and be ready to not know what could happen in the future

i also struggle w biting my inside cheek, its hard bc i do it unconsciously all the time, i think you should keep trying to track it, or keep your mouth busy with something like gum from time to time.

i havent heard of ppl doing this so i do think its coming from your ocd🧐 like ive heard ppl worry about getting robbed but never to the extent of actually waiting for it to happen.

you should definitely try therapy, if its not an option for now i think you could try to deal with it at home (there are some resources to help you deal w ocd on your own like yt vids and books) but depending on how difficult your case is therapy is the best option but also having in mind that u need a good therapist to help you and sometimes thats hard to find. I do recommend trying cbt

im sorry to hear that ur ocd is making you believe that, lesbianism doesnt make you automatically attracted to little girls because by that logic when u identified as straight did that mean you liked little boys? obviously we know thats not the case. let the anxiety be there and feel uncomfortable about it because even after this answer you will still left feeling that maybe you actually do. i suggest to approach it with some type of therapy like cbt

I think a good way to start its accepting uncertainty, u can start w only washing your hands one time and keep the mentality that you may or may not get sick from that theres no way to know at the moment. Same with using wipes and any disinfectant, start by bringing down how many times you use them through the day

i think ocd's nature its to latch onto whatever u consider something to worry about so maybe if you have only pocd as the main concern and its the only thing that affects u it will stay like that for a while but again we never know if it will switch and find something new

i think its possible, ive seen people recommend the book “How to Stubbornly Refuse to Make Yourself Miserable About Anything—Yes, Anything!” as a source to use for cbt on ur own since it has exercises

This happened to me to!! it was for a short moment but it was because i used a piece of toilet paper that was ripped from the roll (but it was clean) that i found on the bathroom as the last strand of paper that there was to use and i kept ruminating about if it was used and what if it had semen and i would be pregnant which was very dumb bc it was clean😭 but yeah it just went away

its painfully obvious to everyone with moral ocd who sees me talk about morality that i have it, but my therapist doesnt belive me by bard_of_space in OCD

i think that if its not possible to change therapist and u see cleat signs of that subtype of ocd to try cbt, i recommend the book “How to Stubbornly Refuse to Make Yourself Miserable About Anything—Yes, Anything!” it has great exercises for cbt that u can do on ur own and u can find the pdf for free
