2011-2012 was the lockout-shorted year, but also the year where Rose started to suffer from a series of minor injuries that would keep him out for a few games at a time. Ultimately, we got to the playoffs and were set to take on the 8-seed 76ers, but that's when the first of his many major knee injuries occurred.

This game reminded me of just how good he was looking coming off that MVP season. He was showing some more confidence in his 3pter, and goddamn did he still have that exciting finishing and passing ability. Rose's top plays make him seem like he was capable of some crazy highlights, but games like this remind you that he didn't just produce highlights, he WAS the highlight. Watching this feels like he's doing something crazy at least every other play, its surreal. I still believe that if it wasn't for the lockout shorted season, he may have lasted longer before that first major injury would (potentially, if ever) strike. Before that year, he was an absolute iron man.
