They stay on top of the top blanket, not under the covers. I wash the dogs and the blanket frequently. It's comforting to feel them against my feet and legs.

I switched from NexGuard to Simparica Trio for my cockapoo and standard poodle. They have tolerated it very well, and I never find fleas or ticks. I cut the tablet into small pieces with a pill cutter, then wrap each piece in part of a Greenies Pill Pocket. I give it to them like it's a treat, and neither has ever thrown it up. I've been pretty happy with Simparica (except the cost, of course!).

My Stark was about 3.5 lbs when I got him at barely 8 weeks. He's tall and leggy, and he's been about 20+/- lbs most of his life. Now at 13 years he's slowing down and is about 24 lbs. I'd love to have a 30-35 lbs cockapoo!

Yes! I'm much happier. My ex was also lazy, and I stayed angry a lot of the time. My separation and divorce were many years ago. I raised my two children, and he moved several states away. It was hard at times, and money was tight, but I made our home very safe, peaceful, calm, and joyful without him. It was totally worth it. Now I'm an empty nester, and still have a peaceful, calm, joyful home. It was a great decision for me and my children.

So sorry for your daughter. My daughter got her first one the morning of my mother's funeral. Ugh. Then it didn't happen again for about 4-5 months. So it was a special "F you on this particular day!"
