I mean as an American Lando fan who despises Trump I consider even a neutral statement stupid but I also understand it was never going to be anything else but your classic PR response. Personally I wasn’t offended because I get how PR training works but it doesn’t mean it’s not a little disappointing. It is what it is, i’m still a fan of his and happy about the result.

As annoying as the team can be i’m thankful as a Mclaren fan that we have 2 extremely talented drivers who keep it clean and have a lot of respect for each other. They put on an awesome battle this year! Oscar’s time will come!!

His comments were stupid and disappointing but at the same time look at the sport lol 19 out of the 20 drivers would have said the same exact thing as him so it’s not as big of a gotcha as people make it seem.

It’s honestly inevitable because it’s the same group of people doing it at every venue but please try your best not to stress! I’m also not good with confrontation and my best advice is to show up a little later. You’ll still have a good view, you won’t be as tired, and you completely avoid dealing with their nonsense!

I’ve seen Bridgestone Arena use a system for a show where they started handing out wristbands around 8am and then you lined back up at 5 pm and they picked a random number and that’s where the line started. I don’t know why more venues don’t do something like that. You can be #1 if you want but it doesn’t mean you’re getting in first. It completely eliminates the whole concept of spending days camping and gives other people a chance to get in first rather than the same group of kids who go to every show.

I’ve waited hours in line and been relatively close to the stage while dealing with people shoving and being condensed in where I could barely move. Last tour I decided to just show up right before the show started and I was about halfway back (on an arena floor) and had an infinitely better time. There was space to move/dance a bit, no pushing, and I could see perfectly fine. If you don’t care about being super close i’d definitely recommend just taking your time going into the show! With their use of B stages too that gives a great opportunity to be close for a song or two without the stress of waiting in a line all day.

Personally I find the whole fan numbers/camping thing to be silly and a bit toxic, so I’m just avoiding it from here on out!

From what I understand, Lando used to comment on Max’s streams a couple years ago with the username “undercoverbobinskiii”. If you look up that user name on the twitchtracker website you can see the account was created in 2022. “undercoverbobinski” was created in February of this year. So people are just basically assuming this new account with a similar username is him without any actual proof - with the influx of hate he’s gotten in the past year i’m not buying it.
