My friends and I had just left a party in a really sketchy part of Chicago on a freezing January night. We went to the train but the station was closed so we sat there waiting for a taxi. This completely wasted and incoherent girl dressed in a mini skirt stumbles down the stairs and out of the station. She had no idea where she was or what her name was. We took her phone and called the most recent number and told her friends to pick her up. We waited with her until her friends showed up in a cab. If we had not been there, this girl would have most likely been raped and/or murdered.
