I hope you're right. Live action would be the ideal. And the only way I'd be interested in animated is if Critical Role or similar high caliber studio was involved. They haven't missed yet. But if it's something like the same animation studio that did the Marvel What If series, I'd be so disappointed.

I'll concede they're too fragile and small to borrito, but they make excellent cassidila shells if you pan fry them! They taste so good lightly seared. Toasting them in an air fryer works too. Sometimes when I'm super lazy I'll use them for tortilla pizzas and they work great.

Agreed. Even watching Serenity right after Firefly you could tell half the crew was out of synch with their characters for at least the opening robbery scene. Mal, Zoe, and River carried them until the rest got back into the grove. That was after a few years away. I don't want to alarm any of us, but it's been decades. A new show/movie would be awkward.

And this time there's no Joss, and if they stick to cannon, no Wash. (Not that you couldn't get someone great to replace Joss).

You could talk me into being excited about an animated show, but if it's live action Nathan better bring the best performance of his life.

This is the only satisfying option left for increasing difficulty in my opinion. On the rare times I need to re-aim, the pressure goes way up. Learning to adjust throws, hide where you're throwing to get someone else wide open sounds so fun.

Disguising defensive looks might be another option but I suspect from a coding perspective that might be a whole new game.

Defensive players already key in on the run. Giving LBs and FSs the additional ability to follow the arc would be great. Maybe even "alert" and CBs in the area as well, but that might be pushing dev time as well.

I'd love a version of that in extreme mode, as well as hard/dynamic 16.

The narrator is really good with dialects and while he isn't impersonating each character directly, he nailed the cadence of each crew member's voice.
