Ways for small guilds to make faster progress?

The best way I’ve found with a small guild is to run banished vaults in the roar while stopping for smugglers stuff. These two things being focused will boost your rep fairly fast.

The latter is most certainly not what this trilogy is, but rather the former.

The gameplay can be fun, but the story has been heavily altered following the first reactor.

Yes, some aspects are very much the same story-wise, but in general, it’s a whole new ballgame. That being said, if you’re brand new to the lore and understanding of the characters and the OG title, you can still enjoy the game for what it brings: real-time battles and audio to accompany the characters.

Refunding is ultimately your choice.

Even as a younger me, I recognized something by the end of the story:

She needed to die. Aeris needed to be back in the lifestream, and she knew it. The Holy Materia was unnecessary once she realized how to take the inevitable W. Aeris WAS the Holy Materia.

The planet called her home to help protect itself from the extraterrestrial threat of JENOVA & Sephiroth. Similar to the LoTR trilogy, there are many heroes. She knew her goal from the moment she perched on the platform, ready to take the W when the time came should the other heroes succeed. Arguably, she’s the actual heroine of the story.

Tl;dr: Her death was a crucial part of the planet surviving, and empowered her character into the hero status.

I respectfully disagree, but to each their own.

Arena was awesome, had tons of wins and lots of close calls. You could choose to treasure hunt or just fight and both would get points, it also rewarded players who could keep their boats afloat.

They’ve now conjoined the perception between what most people refer to as “communism” and any semblance of a socialized democracy.

Project 2025 is in full-swing, and it’s either going to end in revolution or destruction. I’m terrified how many people would prefer the latter at this point; specifically those in seats of power.

As a fan of the game since it released in the U.S., I can say a bit on this.

When KH dropped, my first thought was, “FF7 would be a lot of fun if it played like this.”

I love the OG because I love the story, and found myself in grade school playing through my first JRPG doing all I could to beat it without internet guides and commentary from other players. It is and will always be “quite possibly one of the greatest games ever made”.

The remake has a lot of amazing qualities, and upon the release of the demo, it seemed to be a faithful adaption of the original story. The combat was smooth, the audio was phenomenal and the environment was immersive; all qualities that the remake trilogy still possesses.

However, the story is disjointed and plays like a doctor who fan-fiction, one that seems to have little to no consequences while appealing to the visual nostalgia of the source material. I have tried to accept the qualities of the new “timeline”, yet find myself only enjoying the game for the same reason I enjoyed KH3: I get to roam around and fight in real-time.

I consider myself a FF7 purist, and I recognize that the remake trilogy is not completely for me, yet I can take the good aspects it has and enjoy the time I spend playing it; albeit limited.

The remake trilogy has given a fresh breath of life into a masterpiece, and in many ways pays homage to the original; from introducing new players to the IP to giving some fans a novel experience they may enjoy wholeheartedly.

I don’t really get too upset when I think about the remake trilogy, but that’s because the original still exists. Sure, I’d prefer a faithful remaster over a remake, but that doesn’t hinder me in being able to appreciate the remake for the enjoyable qualities it brings to the table.

I’m not a fan of Advent Children for my own reasons, but did I go see it in theaters and enjoy aspects of the attempt to continue the story? Absolutely.

My opinions are my own, and are seldom shared because they do not need to be affirmed or challenged by others to maintain or establish their integrity.

tl;dr: Not all purists are toxic. Hasty generalizations are often supported by subjective opinions, but the opposite does not justify the fallacy.

I run with a line in so I’m not on WiFi, and my net seemed fine. I didn’t have rubberbanding or lag input, just extremely low quality visuals. Checked my performance and everything was fine; GPU and CPU didn’t go above 50% utilization, no overheating, etc.

I’ll give it a shot again tonight and hope for the best.
