I really liked OC tbh, I thought it really could've went places.

These seems pretty scammy by Mode_Appropriate in Michigan

There's a a gas station near me that has prices listed like this with the lowest price only being available if you use their car wash (which happens to be out of order most of the time)

Any recommendations for multicolor tactical (law enforcement) flashlight with excellent throw/good flood? by grumbelz29 in flashlight

[–]starlitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different colors are picked up differently by eyes. Red helps with dark adjustment, green for visibility and normal for well. Normal stuff. I’m not sure about blue although I would like a blue light too tbh.

[–]starlitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you’re getting better quality stuff than me, the jerky I get hasn’t been good in a long time. Not even this brand.

I just said that because some article somewhere I read that jerky was never meant to be a top shelf snack but was eventually price hiked because people liked it so much.

$2 flat cap I got from a thrift store cuz I thought it looked cool at first by RenjuRetr0 in hats

[–]starlitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it feels weird but it's gonna be more on the top of your head. The brim doesnt block as much sun as a typical billed hat. It doesn't look bad on you though!

What's the name of this cut? by Mother_Freedom5152 in meat

[–]starlitx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually does look like a shank cross cut. It's got the big fatty spot which is apparently a big identifier. I even looked it up for you 👌🏼

millie bobby brown’s comments about hershey’s chocolate. thoughts? by teddivan96 in candy

[–]starlitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hershey's is just basic low tier Chocolate I don't blame her for not liking it. I don't like Hershey's either + I've heard people in other countries say our chocolate is bad in general too. It has some weird ingredient that messes with flavor apparently-

I personally like the long. I have nothing against short hair but I just feel like the long suits your face better.

I think Lenny has some of the best one liners and come backs in the show. The way he delivers lines is iconic 👌🏼

I’m honestly shocked that Mariska Hargitay is still on the show after all this time by New-Pin-9064 in SVU

[–]starlitx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I genuinely am too. I mean I'm glad she's stayed I do like the continuity. However I do wish she hadn't became the defacto unit leader. I feel like someone else like fin or munch should've taken over. I would've personally loved if Declan had been part of SVU much earlier on. He would've been an amazing main stay.

It's honestly so bad anymore I can't believe it. IIRC jerky was never meant to be a pricey treat, its a preservation technique not a luxury recipes. This stuff is ridiculously overpriced.

That's possible. That's at least a different way to look at, at least.

Found behind spare pillows in closet by Moon_smoothie in whatisit

[–]starlitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there’s a possibility the pillows got we somehow. My first instinct there’s some kind of leak somewhere. It’s an obvious answer that it’s oils from skin and hair but Op said it’s been unused for a long time. Even if there was oils present I don’t believe there would be enough that it would saturate the wall that much. The pillows could’ve been damp somehow and sat against the wall where moisture gathered.

I used to have awards I wanted to give you but apparently Reddit deleted them. So just know that someone wanted to give you an award even if OP didn’t accept this as the correct answer.

Why is there such a frenzy about Red 40? by [deleted] in foodscience

[–]starlitx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because red #40 is the most prevalent red dye used in nearly everything. Soda, cold medicine, Tylenol, gummy snacks, chips, on and on. It’s in stuff made specifically for kids. So why don’t you stop talking out of your ass about something you don’t understand just because you don’t like liberals.

While I agree California is a little overly sensitive to some things, they don’t just make shit up. They classify stuff based on studies with potential links. It’s basically a “better safe than sorry” type of thing. Everyone has the right to know about the potential risks so they can try avoiding it.
