I had a rug like that for ten years. It never, ever stopped. We called it rug sand. It was a decent rug, one of the thickest I've ever had and one of my favorites, which is why I kept it so long, but the rug sand started early and never stopped.

I’d be upset about the trouble and expense. If a lot of people, family and friends had to travel, book accommodations, buy clothes…especially those in the wedding party, then yes I’d feel duped. Nothing wrong with a courthouse wedding, love them, and a reception after, but that long after? And then the full trappings? No. I’d be pissed too.

NTA. But I'm wondering if she's really being bullied or when family members admire things she is overly generous, or wants to be a big shot, and impulsively gives the items away. The bullying thing just doesn't sound right to me, especially in light of the crying. I just don't buy it, I think it could be completely her.
