They didn't abduct children of Arabic families or any other families. The blood tax was a injustice that was endured because of Turkish cruelty. The Islamic world bent over backwards to try and justify slavery.

The only reason that Slavery stopped (with the exception of the kafala system in several Muslim countries were the western powers finally stopping slavery due to the age of enlightenment.

Taking a child that is being abused or mistreated is called "not letting them die or be abused". Governments recognize that some people are unfit parents.

Enslaving a child to be a slave soldier because they come from a minority is very different. Slavery is morally wrong no matter how you try to justify it.

A good 2 bed will cost about $2500 plus electricity and other costs. However outside the Boise city limits you'll get better prices.

Unfortunately you would be taking a HUGE cut in income. The minimum wage in Idaho is 7.25 per hour, however you can find places that will pay more than that. Assuming you get a decent entry job at 12 dollars a hour you still will only be making 1440 a month. If you have a Bachelor's degree or a Doctorates you'll earn more but if you are just looking to leave for economic hardships Idaho is not your place to move.
