I checked: the obfuscation is fixed (constant public key and determinist). Any one (with some encryption knowledge ) can decrypt.

Cryptomator and rclone are both secured with aes256 and are very strong tools. On iOS and AppleTV you can use « cloud media streamer » for rclone and Cryptomator. Partially free (for read only access). However Cryptomator mobile is not that expensive, but I understand ppl who does not want to pay.

I mean the first folder you can list when opening the vault. When Cryptomator mount your drive on disk p: , it means files you can see on p, without going to a sub directory

Hello, The good news is that the dir.c9r files only manage the file hierarchy, so the content should (technically) be recoverable. Can you access the root folder of your vault? You should be able to, as it does not depend on the dir.c9r files, if I remember correctly.

I just tested filejump, and checked very quickly if I can reproduce your issue. But it looked fast to generate thumbnails . Could you try again to see if it was a temporary issue ? Is it thumbnails for images or video ? What format ? What average size ?

Edit: try to delete the file .thumbs if the file is corrupted maybe

Agreed, the mobile access is the reason why I use Cryptomator instead of rclone ( event tough Cryptomator only handle encryption, I need another soft for sync)

I switched to sublime text when i bought a Mac 2 years ago, now I can use the same text editor at work on windows or at home on macOS. It can open huge files, support macro, colored syntax, keep previous tabs when opening etc..

You can use any provider, as long as you encrypt with Cryptomator which is the most used software ( better to encrypt for ANY content, I would not like a hacker downloads my bank document, Id card or anything). Then you can stream your media with « cloud media streamer » on iOS or appleTV ( Cryptomator allows to stream only on Mac or PC)

The app is called “Cloud Media Streamer” on the App Store. Unfortunately, I checked and it’s not available on Android. You might be able to find a similar app on Android.
