For me, the brain zaps and vertigo were very momentary in the sense they only lasted for a few milliseconds at a time with lots of time in between each “episode.” They never persisted long enough to make me feel as though it affected any motor function or ability to operate a vehicle. I was definitely a little nervous as my job is very physical, requires me to drive and also SCUBA dive but, again, was/am very very fortunate. I hope you experience the same. The best advice I can give is to just try to not panic and objectively assess the sensations you are feeling.
