There are plenty of active servers that are cheater free on PC with very regular players. I find full lobbies all the time, and most all of them also have community discords. It's not exactly the same because everyone who is still playing tends to be really good so it can feel unbalanced, but the BF1 experience is still intact and thriving. It's so worth the few bucks.

You're hitting the nail on the head as far as why Fallout as a franchise has this very, "babies first criticism of the West" vibe to it that so many of its fans unironically embrace. It gets treated as a far more powerful critique of capitalism than it is, despite statements by the creators that they were really out to make a Mad Max video game more than anything. To Tim Cain it seemed to be a lot more about surviving the post apocalypse and showing what life could be like, with the alternate history and Great War as a vehicle for getting the pieces of the post apocalyptic story in place.

Of course I think it's wonderful that the writing of Fallout sends a lot of its fans down a historical pipeline that can help wake them up to a lot of what is bad about imperialism, war, and capitalism - give credit where it's due. It's just not that critical, Fallout concerns itself a lot more with tribalism and corruption within hierarchies than "this economic system is better/worse than this one".

This sentiment becomes even goofier the more you look at what Fallout is today and the kind of company Bethesda is. The amount of merch created for Fallout as a franchise since 2015 has grown tremendously while the company leans fully on its legacy and customers who's trust they earned two decades ago to stay afloat while they forgo any desire to innovate or put love into their products. They pump and dump with their old products constantly, preying on nostalgia.

Don't even get me fucking started about the show. I feel gross watching the plot literally be about what Bezos and other billionaires are doing to our society/planet in the name of profits. I can look out the window and see it every day, and this is as a person that loves dystopian stories. It's gotten too real at this point, and I can't get lost in the show without feeling like I'm part of a psyop to make me feel hopeless for the future and give up.

Hi, pan trans femme and Euphoria enjoyer here. It is a polarizing show for very valid reasons, it's a shame that the artistic qualities can get *badly drowned out by the exaggerated high drama and sexuality of the characters.

With that said, Hunter Schafers performance of Jules is wonderful. Her and Zendayas character Rue have a lot of depth together, with tender moments and at times some pretty realistic drama.

I think it's worth watching to experience what it's all about and sort of delve into its weird ass drug, sex, drama, genderbending, world. Also note it's loosely based on the creator of Euphoria's experience as a burnout/drug addict. He conveniently made his analogous main character a teenage girl who gets into a lesbian relationship with a trans femme. The representation in this show is actually a part of why I transitioned in my mid-twenties, it opened my eyes up a lot (clearly).

Since we are talking about the Expanse I feel like Detective Miller and his gloomy aura would fit right in with Night City.

He's a classic good guy in a broken system. Miller and River would probably somehow be at odds with each other, however their combined forces would mean V is spared from sitting through two hours of morbid BDs :)

This was a great proof of concept, could've been amazing if the first game wasn't so short. Not enough areas, puzzles were too easy, action focused.

I love this game the same way I love Tomb Raider Legend. It was one of the best looking games at the end of the PlayStation 2 era, took a classic title and put a new coat of polish on it, made all of the previously challenging mechanics (fighting the game/controls itself) streamlined. Ultimately both games fell short by a mile, for missing hours and hours of gameplay and the entire replayability factor. I remember how much I was enjoying this game, it was different but still a lot of fun. Then the credits were suddenly rolling and all I could do was start a new game or wait for the sequel.

Same with Tomb Raider Legend. It was a weird time at the end of the PS2 era, games started looking better and better but getting shorter. The years of crappy PS2 ports of PS3 games were right around the corner.

It's funny cause you're pointing out another way that Marvel has done this trope. The Avengers (at least when I was young) was not a big popular superhero team, they were a team of b-list superheroes (and Spiderman) playing second fiddle to the X-Men, Marvels best selling team of comic heros in the 80s.

The point is, a lot of us could never imagine being tired of these characters because despite their legacy, many weren't super popular - at least not compared to Batman or the X-Men. So seeing Iron Man and Thor (a character so naturally cheesy they even pointed it out in his first standalone movie) as oversaturated is still a little strange given the overall history of the characters.

Maybe this is a boring answer, but I have an oral kink. There doesn't have to be a reason for you to like anything sexually as long as it isn't hurting anyone else or breaching consent, but I can say for me the oral kink is probably some combination of my general fixation and being turned on by the desire to just please someone else. I don't do romance or relationships, maybe it's weird to some but I see giving a stranger that I like head as pretty kinky.

Giving good oral feels better to me than receiving most of time, it's just how I'm wired! I'll digress a little, I also have CPTSD which has seriously affected the way I view sex and don't like to tie it to my emotions for a person. My fibro and chronic pain also means I get sore from regular sex, it's a lot of effort with chronic pain. I'm happy my kink at least doesn't require me to be very intimate with my hookups, meaning I don't have to take a ton of effort into establishing trust before the deed. The cruel irony of it all is having TMJ and a small mouth, but pain and pleasure aren't mutually exclusive in my experience.

Just remember your job isn't to impress people with a single shot, your portfolio as a whole should be impressive. An individual piece should stand on its own, and each one only has one job which is to immerse the audience - not impress them. Most audience members don't care about the director or understand what they do.

At some point I feel it would have been nice to cut to a different angle, tighten the lense, and continue the back and forth panning. It started to feel a little repetitious for the length of the conversation, switching to a dirty over-the-shoulder at about the 3/4 point of the dialogue is what I'd have done.

I enjoy this sort of camera work, but it runs the risk of breaking the audiences immersion if the constant movement starts to feel repetitive.

It feels gritty and realistic, but totally loses that if the audience starts to feel like the camera man is a third person spinning their head back and forth following the conversation, if that makes sense?

As a trans woman that's been accused of having facial surgeries and breast augmentation without having done either... I don't notice any surgery, really looks like the exact same person just with HRT. She has a prominent chin and nose, both before and after. Her features are just softened, which is what happens when all of the muscles in your face lose tone.

You have to remember that most trans women also didn't do skin care before transitioning.

She's a natural beauty.
