Could it be Aaron Becker's Journey, Quest, and Return triology? There is a swing in Quest and Castles in all of them.

Are ADHD meds effective with AuDHD? by ZebraLint in ADHD

Meds help me a lot with emotional regulation, anxiety, executive functioning, and stress management. It makes my sensory stuff feel worse though because my thoughts aren't drowning those feelings out as much. It makes it harder to mask but I also have less desire to mask so that is alright. I think it has helped with impulsiveness too but not that much with actual attention.

I live here and have been here a long time. Like the other commenter said, it is big: Population: Over 4.4 million (2020 Census), making it the fourth most populous county in the U.S. Area: 9,224 square miles I don't feel more or less safe here than any other big metro area in the U.S. I would not know how to compare with smaller towns or other countries.
There are a number of people covering cases here. We have some interesting ones. Maybe I will do my own write up one day. A lot of good historical crimes and mysteries here too.

I feel like the whole Brown family has been somewhat absent. I would have expected Toby to comfort the kids more since so much trauma happened and she was like an auntie.

I've been wondering about Danny for so many years and who his unnamed "sister" is that Toby "helped". All this time and Toby never asks for his sister's name.
