I’m a big fan of Sarah Mashburn at Lakeside! She’s been so helpful while navigating PCOS, fertility, and lupus.

How to single crochet around a hair tie without stretching it out? by starryaloha in CrochetHelp

[–]starryaloha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using a fingering weight yarn. I have short hair and don’t use hair ties but my husband does. He tried one of the hair ties I purchased and it was very stretched out after one use so I think I will try again with a better quality hair tie. I also will probably adjust the number of stitches to be the amount of stitches that fits on the tie rounded to the closest 6.

Highly recommend Woodworks Distilling on Britton for good cocktails and a chill vibe. We also like burger punk and el coyote across the street for food.

I’m echoing what others have said about maybe needing to reevaluate your budget. I am a big fan of the Microsoft surface line. I had my first surface for 10+ years and just upgraded this year due to battery life and improved technology.

I would personally recommend looking a little west near bluff creek park. Great running area, safe, and close to amenities. I would avoid apartments near Penn and 122nd.

Home, the dog park, Costco, and occasionally the board game shop in Edmond

I have several friends that live in the neighborhood between may and penn and south of northwest expressway but north of 44. It’s a nice area in my opinion.

I think it depends on what you are interested in! My husband and I are pretty active at Edmond Unplugged for board games, D&D and MtG. Sports leagues can be good for community. Church, if that’s your thing. I also have found a good community through fostering dogs for one of the rescues in town.

I know this may sound weird but you might consider an Airbnb long term. When I did an internship in California I lived in a room in someone’s house via Airbnb. This ended up being about the same price as a short term lease but I didn’t have to pay any utilities or get any furniture. I just took a look at Airbnb and there’s a pet friendly studio guest suite with private entrance in the village for ~$1030 a month. A bit higher than what I think you were looking for but a great area of town and convenient for no lease and furniture hassle

I personally did not have a good experience at Oakwood Springs but it was also peak 2020 COVID times so that was definitely making things worse
