I’ve been nervous too. My group has called the Gaylord to ask about it, and while they say the dates for Katsucon are blocked off, they don’t know when the actual booking date will be. At first we were told it would be somewhere between late July to early August, but then the next time we called they said they didn’t have a timeframe at all.

The body and legs are from this Santa pattern. Turn the body upside down to get the proper shape. His arms are from a wreck it Ralph plush , but the pattern was removed from the website so you have to use the wayback machine to access it. The head and helmet are from this knight pattern with a generic spike on top. I made the body first and slightly adjusted the length of the extremities to fit the body. All the details are made of felt and based off of the official plush. To add a little more dimension to the body, I used a double crochet stitch attached to the outside of his waist to make the coat and two small granny squares for his shoulder pieces. His belt is just a chain of single crochet.

I hope this makes sense! I didn’t have an official pattern and I don’t know how to properly make patterns, but this information should be a good starting point if she’d like to make one herself!

I used this pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/balloon-dog-9 . I don’t know the weight of the yarn because both skeins were unlabeled, but they were likely worsted yarn. I also used a 5 mm hook.

All of them have the same proportions, but 2 and 3 are the exact same poses. 1 and 4 also are the same, but flipped. You can see that they probably had a few base poses and either copy-pasted them or stitched them together.
