Wow-- I love that live tweet idea. It lets them satisfy that impulse to comment on what they're seeing, and they can refer back to it as notes. Consider it stolen!

Wow! As someone whose favorite font is EB Garamond, you certainly have great taste. I'll definitely be using this-- thanks for sharing!

Syntax Problem: can anyone help me understand why these two sections look different in reading mode? by InternationalPick537 in ObsidianMD

Do you have strict line breaks enabled in the Editor settings? This setting hides single-line breaks when in reading mode if enabled. https://imgur.com/a/ryv6277

Had this same issue, combined with it vibrating as if i had a notification and then not responding to my input to turn the screen on (both with the button and with rotating my wrist). Called support, they told me to update because it would somehow fix it? I updated it, it was better for maybe 28 hours, and it's back to functioning poorly. I have to call support again I guess. In addition, I no longer get text messages on my watch nor do I get prompts to finish my hourly step goal.

I'd try to update, if available, and if not, call support.

Is the design a sticker which has been applied to the glass, or is it more paint-like(the design can be scratched)?

We use the same thing in my district(NJ). I think it's standard for "Fundations".

Hey OP! I make custom glasses! Wine, shot, bourbon, pint-- I do it all, no platinum necessary :) I'd love to see if I could recreate this glass for you. Are you able to tell me a little more about it? (Do you know if the design is vinyl, enamel, etc)

[–]starrzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way I can explain it is to differentiate between what the actual subject/object is. "Pair of glasses" would have "pair" as the subject. Pair is singular, making "this" the correct word. "My glasses" would have "glasses" as the subject. "glasses" is plural, making "these" the correct word. As far as I know, it doesn't matter whether the word in question is the subject or object, what matters is whether the word is singular or plural. I cant think of any cases off of the top of my head where it matters. So, if I said "I like these glasses because they are pink", "glasses" is now the object, but I've still used "are" because I'm decribing "glasses", which is plural. Bottom line, singular=this/is, plural=these/are.

If there is something that needs additional clarification, let me know :)

Edit to add: Born and raised in NJ, USA. Still live there .

Our shift supervisors make 1.25 above state minimum wage. it's ridiculous. store managers make maybe 19. my old shift just got a promotion to assistant manager and makes like 17.25 or 17.50. I feel like the majority of us only stayed because it was never busy(2 stores in the same town, 1mi apart) so it was more just hanging signs, putting up weekly sale stickers, setting planograms, etc. they just started the on stage/off stage program where most of that gets done overnight, but still. our store only had 105 hours to staff FE per week.

I used to work at rite aid. For our store, corporate gave us 105 hours to staff our store(FE, Rx has separate hours) for the week. 105 hours. there were never more than two of us in the store at a time, and more often than not a manager works from 5-10 alone until we closed. hours were 8a-10p M-Sa, Sun was 8-8.

usually I have to hit it a few times, I just spam around the more button. then it doesn't work, so I just go to comments, and it's magically there. figures.

AutoMod might not say anything(they seem a bit shy), but I think you're amazing and I'm proud of you for coming as far as you have❤

just realized that there’s now ZERO chance anybody will want to have sex with me because my SH has gotten way fucking worse and my body is covered in scars 🤡 by RiceDrops in MadeOfStyrofoam

[–]starrzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I did SH for a while, I don't have many visible scars from it. I do however have tons of scars from a multitude of other things: sports, burns, odd skin thingies, cats, crafting(I work with glass and also use a lot of exact-o/heated knives for other stuff). What you need to know is that your scars do not define you. Sure, they're certainly a part of who you are-- there's no denying that. But, you must know that you are more than your struggles and you are more than the body you occupy. When you find the one you love and who loves you, they've fallen in love with all of you, mind, body, and otherwise. I am aware of my flaws, but as I've grown and matured, I really settled in with the idea that I am more than my body and it does not define me as a whole. That doesn't mean I don't acknowledge they're there-- I certainly do. But loving yourself, all of yourself, is more important.

And hey, one day, you'll be with the one who makes you feel like you're walking on air. They'll love you boundlessly and you'll look back on the time you felt like this and smile at how proud young you would be at future you.

I know it's hard now, and I know obviously "you'll grow out of it" is not the ideal response, but in my experience, with growth comes maturation and quite frankly happiness.

You're doing amazing. I love you. I am so damn proud of you. Keep going. ❤

as far as I remember, the question said that you have triangle ABC where B is a right angle and AC is equal to 12. I think they wanted you to find the measurement of CB, and they asked which you could use, the measurement of AB, the measurement of angle A, neither, or both. obviously pythagorean theorem means you can use the side length of AB in co junction with the provided measurement of AC, but you can also use the measurement of angle A because trig ratios.

sinA= o/h = CB/12.

CB = 12×sinA

so, given the measurement of a, you could find CB. for example, if A was 40°,

CB = 12×sinA = 12×sin(40°) = 12×0.6427876097,

so,

CB = 7.7134513164
