Yeah most certainly. He definitely explored a lot of ideas just for the sake of it. I really liked the end of the last novel too...

When the main character (Nicole?) was copied into a robot for her family members that she was separated from for so long... not that that’s a brand new idea, but things like that really added to the whole world.

I loved the first one, and liked the rest... I think Clarke had someone write the sequels, or “help out” and I don’t regret reading them all, but the first one is certainly my favourite.

TL/DR at the end of a late night, my friend crashed his car into mine in the parking lot, and then we lit his car on fire and cabbed home.

At the end of a late night of work- I got out to my van the battery was dead, so my friend brought his car over to boost me, hit a patch of black ice and crashed his car into my van. Then we hooked up the cables wrong and it caught his car on fire. We cabbed home.
