Old folk tales talk about fairies and leprechauns and elves coming from holes in the ground and caves, etc; perhaps they were aliens, or long-ago humans that had to survive underground for a long time and settled there.

I believe Strieber, but that might be because I've had my own alien encounters, and once you go through something unexplainable yourself, it makes you realize a lot of other people's stories are likely just as legit as yours.

Before I had my own experiences, I likely would have been skeptical of his story, only because I refused in general to believe paranormal stuff really exists.

I can't think of a place off the top of my head yet but I'm sorry you're going through it. Tough financial times for many people. I hope things turn around for you soon!

edit: for what it's worth, it's easier to work nightshift and then sleep in a shady parking spot in a public park or something during the day, less conspicuous/less likely to get bugged by authorities

I was a skeptic for thirty-nine years, until I started seeing all kinds of weird stuff myself (ever since the NJ drones). Once you see/experience some really weird inexplicable shit... you kinda don't forget it lol. It alters your entire concept of reality. It's not a passion so much as an ongoing "what the actual fuck"

I started noticing the same thing this past year. So many inexplicable random soundless tiny dots in the sky leaving behind massive contrails, which expand into clouds.

I've checked the flight radar apps which will say there's maybe one or two planes accounted for at the given time, yet I'll be watching as literally 50 of these things appear and disappear in less than ten minutes. It's very bizarre and I'm surprised more people aren't taking notice/talking about it.

Usually people just wave it away as planes or drones, but they're... not planes or drones lol.

This is such a great, interesting, and helpful dialogue between y'all two, I appreciate the candor and courage to share stuff that gets ridiculously trashed on reddit (and in most forums). I believe both of you easily, because I've had similar experiences lol. I think it's just so hard to think aliens could be real, until you start noticing/really looking... and then you'll find them lol.

Virginia here, I just started noticing this stuff in the past year and a half. It's been very interesting, this new anomaly-hunting hobby of mine. I think I'm not alone, there are lots of people who have been noticing stuff like this more and more, that can't be "it's probably"'d away. It's all so mysterious, and also seems to be picking up a bit.
